SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Six people were injured in an undisclosed incident off of Longstreet Lane in Suffolk Thursday afternoon, city Fire Chief Mike Barakey said, with one adult suffering life-threatening injuries and three others, including a child, suffering serious injuries.
Barakey did not disclose the nature of the incident, saying Suffolk Police 'will advise further.' However, he said one adult has life-threatening injuries and two other adults and a child have serious injuries. Two more adults have minor injuries, and Barakey said all were taken to the hospital, including one person who was taken by a LifeEvac helicopter.

Suffolk Fire & Rescue's Engine 4 set up a landing zone at Southwestern Elementary School at 150 Pioneer Road, just over five miles away from the incident area, for the LifeEvac 4 helicopter, with the department's Medic 7 transferring one person to the LifeEvac helicopter to be taken to the hospital.
