CT man airlifted to hospital by Lifestar after motorcycle crash
A 30-year-old man was transported to the hospital by Lifestar helicopter after a late night motorcycle crash in Torrington, officials said.
On Friday evening just after 11 p.m.,Torrington police responded to Main Street at City Hall Avenue for a report of a crash involving a sedan and a motorcycle, according to officers. Upon arrival, officers said they located the operator of a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the street with serious injuries.
Thomas Fitzpatrick, of Torrington, was transported by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital for treatment, police said.
The operator of the 2018 Toyota Camry remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. He was not injured as a result of the crash, police said.
The area remained closed for several hours while the scene was investigated by the Torrington Police Department Accident Investigation Team.
This crash is currently under investigation and no charges have been filed, according to police.
