KING, N.C. , May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Military Makeover with Montel® along with Official Non-Profit Partner, Purple Heart Homes, proudly announces its upcoming season spotlighting the remarkable story of U.S. Marine Corps veteran Sean Reeves and his family. Coming to Lifetime TV this summer, this season will follow an inspiring path of bravery, dedication, and recovery, culminating in a well-earned home makeover for a selfless family. Sean's courageous service and sacrifice were recognized with many military decorations, such as the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, NATO Medal ISAF Afghanistan, and the Afghanistan Campaign Ribbon, among others. Driven by the September 11th attacks, Sean Reeves enlisted in the United States Marine Corps upon his 2008 high school graduation. He served as an infantry rifleman (0311) with the First Battalion, Second Marines and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. During Operation Northern Penetration, Mr. Reeves sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and three gunshot wounds resulting from an improvised explosive device (IED) detonation and subsequent ambush. Despite these severe injuries, he continued his military service until his medical retirement in 2011. Presently, Mr. Reeves is employed as a Care Coordinator at Veterans Bridge Home, providing support to veterans and their families as they navigate challenging transitions. Notwithstanding persistent chronic pain, cognitive impairments, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and having achieved remission from non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he remains a dedicated advocate and an essential source of support within the veteran community. "The story of the Reeves family is one of resilience and commitment to community," said Nicole Oropesa, President of BrandStar Entertainment. Gypsy Rose Blanchard, convicted for killing her mother, enjoys Mother's Day with her daughter Aurora, says 'I'm not a monster'

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been out of prison for almost one-and-a-half years now after getting parole in December 2023 in the murder case of her mother, Dee Dee. She just celebrated her first mother's day with her daughter, Aurora, and posted pictures of the same on her Instagram page. #Operation Sindoor The damage done at Pak bases as India strikes to avenge Pahalgam Why Pakistan pleaded to end hostilities Kashmir's Pahalgam sparks Karachi's nightmare She also stars in season 2 of a web series on her life. The series Life After Lock Up released on March 10 and shows her life after her parole. It shows her getting back to her life, the birth of her daughter and how she reunited with her former boyfriend, Ken Urker. Born on July 27, 1991, Gypsy Rose became a mother when she gave birth to her daughter on December 28, 2024. Urker, the father of the girl child named Aurora was with her when she went into labour exactly one year after she was paroled and walked out of the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri (USA). In a small video posted on her Instagram from Lifetime TV , the producer of the webseries on her, an emotional Gypsy Rose talks about her daughter and how she wants her (Aurora) to remember her mother. 'How are you going to tell your daughter about what you did? I just want to know that she's going to love me and forgive me for what I did in my past. Cause, I'm not a monster,' she says while touching upon her prison term for killing her mother. Live Events She is also planning for a vacation with her daughter and Urker before the end of her parole on June 25, 2025. She was arrested along with Nicholas Godejohn , her then-boyfriend, in 2015 for the murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard . She and Godejohn had planned the killing of Dee Dee as she wanted to escape from the abuses and tortures that she was facing at the hands of her mother. Dee Dee was stabbed to death by Godejohn while Gypsy Rose hid in the washroom and covered her ears so as to not hear her mother's screams. While she got a prison term of 10 years for her role in the killing, Godejohn was sentenced to 25 years without parole.

Octomom Nadya Suleman reveals her biggest regret after having 14 children

Natalie 'Nadya' Suleman — also known as Octomom — has spoken about her biggest regret after welcoming 14 children. The single parent first made headlines in 2009, after she was implanted with 12 embryos by a fertility specialist in Beverly Hills. The implantation resulted in the first-ever successful birth of octuplets: Noah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, Makai, Maliyah, and Nariyah. Before receiving her signature moniker, Suleman was already a mother of six children: Amerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua, and Aidan. Now, Suleman — who faced backlash for having eight children when she was already a busy parent — is looking back on her last pregnancy. During that time, she was actually only hoping for one more baby. However, Dr. Michael Kamarava later confessed to implanting 12 embryos in her, despite saying he'd only implanted six, and lost his medical license as a result. Still, Suleman said that while she wouldn't change the family she now has, she regrets that she didn't take legal action against Kamarava. 'I don't think I'd do too much differently,' she told People in an interview published on Wednesday. 'I do regret not suing the infertility doctor. I definitely regret that because his insurance would've been the one paying, and it would've been some millions, and it would've been helpful for my family.' She shared that when she was expecting her octuplets, she was living with her parents and struggling financially. 'I regret that I kind of threw myself under the bus to cover for him, and I shouldn't have but I was grateful. I wouldn't have had any of my kids if it weren't for his innovative technique,' she explained. 'No one else in the world did this type of procedure, so I didn't have it in my heart to sue him.' She said that she did sue the hospital for breaching HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which protects patients' medical records and information. According to Suleman, the hospital was the 'reason why [she] ended up in the public eye.' Back in 2009, Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Bellflower, California, was fined $250,000 for unauthorized employee access to Suleman's medical records. At the time, 25 employees had inappropriate access to those records, with 15 of them either terminated or resigned. Eight other employees faced other disciplinary actions. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lifetime TV (@lifetimetv) Suleman is now back in the limelight with her documentary Confessions of Octomom, and a movie based on the criticism she got when she welcomed her eight children, I Was Octomom, premiering on Lifetime this week. In 2013, after years in the spotlight, she opted to raise her children privately. 'I had stopped wanting to do it from day one. I was violating my boundaries and my value system and my own self,' she said at the time. 'I didn't think of it at the time because I was in survival mode, and I was doing whatever I possibly could to provide for my kids. There was definitely a catalyst — my girls, particularly my oldest daughter, Ameerah. She was about 10, and she started integrating my traits and behaviors.' Last November, Suleman celebrated a new milestone: Becoming a grandmother. On Instagram, she posted a photo showing a baby girl's tiny foot peeking from underneath a pink blanket. Without revealing which of her 10 sons the daughter belonged to, Suleman gushed over the latest addition to her huge family. 'Thank you my son and my lovely daughter in law for giving us this beautiful gift!' she wrote in the caption. 'We are so blessed that she is a new addition to our family! Baby girl you are so very loved and we can't wait to watch you grow!! 8/30/24.'
