Lili Reinhart Debuts Brunette Hair for 'The Love Hypothesis'

Lili Reinhart is officially gearing up for The Love Hypothesis. The Riverdale star plays Olive in the film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's romance novel, and hopped on Instagram to debut her new brunette hair in a post simply captioned "👀🧬❤️ #thelovehypothesis." Lili's hair transformation comes amid Tom Bateman being cast as Adam in the movie—which is completely hilarious/iconic if you know the lore of this book. The top notes? The Love Hypothesis originated from Head Over Feet, the 2018 Star Wars romantic fan-fiction about Kylo Ren and Rey. Fans have been hoping that Adam Driver would be cast as Adam in The Love Hypothesis, but Tom's casting is almost as meta due to the fact that he' Daisy Ridley in real life. And yes, Daisy knows the book is inspired by Reylo fan-fic, telling Collider in 2023 that it's "fucking cool" and "Honestly, for anyone to just write a book is so impressive, let alone a New York Times bestseller, let alone something inspired by something I was part of. That's very thrilling… So thank you, whoever wrote The Love Hypothesis and The Hurricane Wars. Wow." Meanwhile, Ali Hazelwood released a statement on The Love Hypothesis being made into a movie earlier this week, saying "Honestly, I still can't believe this is happening? [Producer] Elizabeth Cantillon, Claire Scanlon, and Lili Reinhart have all created, produced, or starred in works that I'm absolutely feral about, and I am beyond honored that they're choosing to bring their talent to this project. Books and films are very different media, and I have complete trust in this brilliant team. I cannot wait to see the final product they'll come up with. I hope they have as much fun filming as I had while writing the book."
