The coroner said a white Toyota Highlander sideswiped a car about a mile from the ATV accident.
The Highlander continued on the highway and then clipped a three-wheel motorcycle, causing minor damage to it, before crossing the center line, hitting an ATV on the opposite side of the road, and pushing the ATV into the woods.
The coroner said the driver of the four-wheeler, 74-year-old Roger Stanton, and the driver of the SUV, 77-year-old Linda Moncrief, both died at the scene.
