Find ghostly father and begin Lingering Bond quest
The journey begins at the All-Mother's Temple, located in the northeast.
From there, head slightly west and climb the nearby hill. You will spot the lone skeleton sitting on the edge. The skeleton will not respond as the daylight renders it inert. To trigger the encounter, rest at the bonfire till nightfall and then awaken the spirit.

As the moonlight will bathe the ridge, the skeleton will transform into a flickering ghost. To speak to him will reveal that he is the deceased father of Fearghas (a man in the main city), and he is bound by regret.

Tell the truth or lie, and the outcome will remain unchanged. While honesty will prompt skepticism—Fearghas will test the story with some personal questions regarding his father. Even all your convincing answers will not sway him fully. However, he will accept the heirloom gratefully.
