Finland's Ahlstrom launches optipad to extend cooking oil life by 50%

Optipad combines an advanced filtration material with a filter aid, resulting in a pre-impregnated solution that efficiently eliminates particles and oil contaminants. TPM (Total Polar Materials) is a key measurement for assessing the quality of frying oil. Elevated TPM % levels indicate the degradation of oil, which can adversely affect food quality. OptiPad keeps the TPM-% lower much longer than standard filtration methods, delivering cleaner oil and extending the cooking oil life by up to 50%.
