Exclusive: Netflix and the Egyptian Theatre Launch 'A Century of Romance: Star-Crossed, On the Run, and Happily Ever After' Series
Los Angeles movie lovers, you're in for a treat. The iconic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, owned by Netflix, will host a month-long screening series starting March 3.
"A Century of Romance: Star-Crossed, On the Run, and Happily Ever After" will feature over 30 romance-filled movies from over the last one hundred years of featured films explore themes of love, covering the good, the bad, and everything in between. From classic rom-coms like "When Harry Met Sally" to certified tear-jerkers like "Medicine for Melancholy," there is sure to be something for everyone."A Century of Romance" will feature films in 35mm and 4k, striking a perfect balance between old-time love and modern-age romance. April 9, the final night of the series, a 7:30 p.m. special screening of the new 4K restoration of "High Art" will end in a Q&A with director Lisa Cholodenko. Tickets for this month's series are available now on the Egyptian Theatre website.
