White House Correspondents' dinner 2025 WORST dressed: Over-the-top feathers and sparkles take over event
A slew of stars have gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner, but some of them opted for very bizarre looks for the prestigious event.
The dinner - which has pretty much been held on the last Saturday in April at the White House for over 100 years - sees celebrities, political figures, and government officials come together to celebrate the First Amendment right to a free press.
Hosted by the White House Correspondents' Association - the journalists who cover the White House and the President of the United States - it's become one of the most elite parties of the year, with A-listers of all sorts coming together.
President Donald Trump was noticeably absent from the event once again - he skipped out on the dinner every year of his last presidency, making him the first ever US President to not attend.
Even so, the star-studded guest list did not disappoint this year, as it included tons of big names in TV and journalism.
And while many of the famous faces impressed with their stunning ensembles, some of them completely missed the mark, arriving in eyebrow-raising outfits.
Between the enormous feathers, over-the-top sparkles, clashing patterns, and awkward frocks, the dazzling dinner was filled with sartorial nightmares and fashion fails.
Here, take a look at worst dressed list from the 2025 White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Fox News commentator Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, known simply as Kennedy, opted for a figure-hugging pink gown. But what earned her a spot on the worst dressed list was her extravagant hat. The eye-popping headpiece was shaped like an enormous flower, and it certainly ensured all eyes would be on her... but maybe not for the best reasons
MSNBC political contributor April Ryan wore a green gown to the prestigious event as she arrived with her husband James Ewing. The dress was ultimately a fashion fail as the chest area was covered in flashy rhinestones and enormous feathers
Joanna Coles, Chief Creative and Content Officer for The Daily Beast, walked the carpet in a metallic gold jacket, which she paired with a white T-shirt, black trousers, and a snake print clutch. Her outfit seemed more fit for a trip to the mall or a Taylor Swift concert than a White House dinner
