Pittsburg State University announces two new deans
PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg State University announces two new deans.
Dr. Lisa Riedle will take over as the dean of the Crossland College of Technology in July.
She inherits the post from outgoing Pittsburg State president Dr. Dan Shipp.
Riedle has been the department head of applied engineering and technical management at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls since 2015.

Meanwhile, Dr. Chris Childers has been named the new dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, effective February 16.
He began serving as the interim dean in 2024.
Childers has worked at Pittsburg State since 2010.
