Police: Woman found injured in Lancaster County roadway, dies at hospital
LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) — Police in Lancaster County are investigating a death after a woman was found injured in the roadway.
Lititz Police said an officer found a woman in the roadway near Laurel and East Fourth Avenue just after midnight Sunday.
The woman was suffering from life-threatening injuries, police said, and she was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
Police and the Lancaster County Coroner's Office are investigating. They add that there is no reason to believe there is a risk to public safety.
