Edinburgh restaurant workers were shocked when celebrity chef Jamie Oliver popped in to say hello Staff at Little Capo, a restaurant on Howe Street, were delighted when the BBC star visited the eatery. Workers took to social media to share their delight at the all-star chef's appearance at the restaurant on Monday, April 7. Next they shared a photo of Little Capo staff posing outside the shop with Jamie. The staff all beam with delight as they pose with Jamie and his young daughter, River. Their caption on Instagram reads, "River stole the show". They add: "Ok you get it. Today was a good day!" Jamie also took to his own social media to share photos and thoughts from his visit to the restaurant. He shared a photo in front of Little Capo with his tow children. Another post read: "A very tasty meal at Little Capo Edinburgh." The chef entered the public eye through his appearance on the BBC Two series The Naked Chef, which premiered in 1999. Each episode took a theme from an event in Jamie's life, such as a hen night or babysitting and follows the hotshot restauranteur as he prepares magnificent meals for the occasion. The star has since sold over 50 million books worldwide with 28 best-selling cook books. Jamie is also involved in charity work to make healthy food easier and more accessible for everyone to eat. Little Capo launched in 2024 and serves up "Italian-ish" cuisine, alongside cocktails and wine. The eatery replaced Kuzina, a Greek bar and restaurant that went up for sale at the beginning of the last year.
