Wisconsin DNR investigating deadly boat crash on Little Muskego Lake that killed 10-year-old

MUSKEGO, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin DNR is leading the investigation into a boat crash on Little Muskego Lake that ended up taking the life of a 10-year-old child. Around 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, local authorities with the Muskego Police Department and Tess Corners Fire Department responded to a boat crash at Idle Isle Park on Little Muskego Lake in Muskego. According to a preliminary investigation, one boat being driven by a 74-year-old man with another passenger crashed into a stationary boat with three people on board, including the 10-year-old child. Wisconsin 18-year-old pronounced dead, thrown from UTV in Marinette County Immediate care was provided at the scene before the child was taken to a local hospital. The child was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin DNR with help from the Muskego PD. No other significant injuries were reported.
