BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The team at Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana says this $270 million project is a long time coming. Joshua Robinson, Vice President of Marketing at Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana says get ready to be 'inspired' with an 'unparalleled experience.' 'We've got you covered from whatever experience you are looking for, whether it's a nice quiet experience with friends and family in the Prime Rib or you're on a first date in the R bar having some fresh oysters and an amazing signature cocktail, enjoying a show in entertainment center our or staying in one of our luxury hotel rooms,' said Robinson. Unique mural designs inside Live! Casino and Hotel in Bossier City During an exclusive tour, intricate detail was around every corner from the bars to the casino to Prime Rib restaurant to the PBR Cowboy Bar with its western theme and mechanical bull. 'The wow factor, boom you come in and all the excitement in here and the wow factor of this casino. Watching it over the past year being built, and all the things that's been going with it, just how it's progressed and how it looks, people are going to come from all over and it's going to be exciting for everybody to be here to see what has happened,' said Bossier City Mayor Tommy Chandler. Lisa Johnson, President and CEO of Bossier Chamber of Commerce also received a tour and said the attention to detail is next to none. She says Live! will bring economic growth to Northwest Louisiana. 'They are going to be bringing in additional tax revenue dollars but they're also bringing in those jobs, over 800 jobs into the area to employ our local community,' said Johnson. Workers were around the building putting in the final details. Bartenders and Table Game Operators were also learning their crafts before a grand opening on February 13th complete with a firework show. 'We are just a building without the people who are going to make us live. And that it going to be over our 800 employees that we have submitted job offers for, who are in this building today, breathing life into Live,' said Robinson. MORE LOCAL NEWS Mayor Tommy Chandler says he looks forward to the big day. 'It's going to bring a whole lot more people here, it's going to bring a lot of revenue here. I know the chamber of commerce is going to love that, and the city is going to love the people coming to see Bossier City and Experience Bossier City because they'll come back,' said Mayor Chandler.
