Kelly Ripa roasts husband Mark Consuelos for ‘disgusting' sex desire

Kelly Ripa is mocking her husband, Mark Consuelos, for his sexual desires. The 54-year-old TV host made a confession about her sex life during Tuesday's episode of Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. During the conversation, Ripa asked when Hirsch and her husband prefer to have sex. 'I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?' Ripa asked, to which Hirsch replied: 'Definitely not morning. Do not breathe on me in the morning.' Ripa claimed that men prefer to have sexual intercourse in the morning, which Hirsch said she wouldn't do with her partner. 'I find it disgusting,' the Live with Kelly and Mark host added. However, according to Ripa, her husband only wants to have sex in the morning, which she had to talk to him about. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have spoken openly about their sex life (Getty Images) 'He'll never learn, he's a guy,' she joked. 'But I said to him, 'Here's the thing, there needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. Because it feels like 90 percent of the time it's your way.'' 'And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only,' she added, since she and her husband have been hosting Live together since April 2023. She also roasted her husband for wanting to kiss her when they wake up in the mornings. 'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' Ripa added. 'And he's got his nasal things on. We are the most repulsive, disgusting.' Ripa joked that men 'don't care' and that a 'd*** has a brain of its own.' 'I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning,' she quipped. However, she clarified that she and Consuelos don't have sex every morning, since they have to get up early for work. 'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she explained. 'Which is like a miracle.' She then questioned why her husband doesn't 'suffer from erectile dysfunction,' since he's in his mid-50s. 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' Ripa jokingly added. Ripa and Consuelos first met in the Nineties, when they were both starring on All My Children. They got married in 1996 and went on to welcome three children: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. The longtime couple is notorious for sharing NSFW details about their relationship. During a 2023 episode of her podcast, Let's Talk off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Consuelos and Ripa recalled how they've stayed connected during their time apart, including when the Riverdale star was in Canada for 10 months in 2020 for work. After Consuelos said that there were 'rituals' they did to stay close, Ripa stepped in to share how they're intimate with each other via FaceTime. 'We had, can I tell you something, we had sexual rituals that were so ludicrous, over FaceTime,' she explained. 'I became so alarmed at my appearance, over FaceTime, that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder.' She then poked fun at how she 'got really close to herself' in 'situations where [she] was separated from [her] husband for long periods of time.' Ripa also addressed how important intimacy is in a relationship, asking Consuelos if it would be a 'dealbreaker' if she 'cut [him] off sexually.' In response, he said: 'That could be a potential deal breaker…Unless you had some type of medical condition where, like, you lost the use of [your body].'

Kelly Ripa is Thankful Her Kids Don't Have a ‘Mountain of Debt': ‘They Are So Appreciative'

Kelly Ripa knows her kids are nepo babies — but she's also aware of the positives that come with the negative reputation. During the Tuesday, July 15, episode of the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast, the Live With Kelly and Mark cohost said she finds 'comfort' in the fact that her children with Mark Consuelos — Joaquin, 22, Lola, 24, and Michael, 28 — are graduating without student loan debt. "I think my kids feel, like, very fortunate in general," she told host Amanda Hirsch, noting how they feel knowing they don't have school loans to pay off. "There's, like, a comfort in knowing my kids got to graduate knowing that they weren't having to climb out of a mountain of debt. They are so appreciative and so grateful,' Ripa, 54, said. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' Family Album With Their 3 Children Through the Years: See Photos Ripa and Consuelos, also 54, met on the set of All My Children in 1995 and tied the knot shortly after. They've been married for nearly 30 years and now cohost Live together. Despite their fame, Ripa and Consuelos made an effort to give their kids a 'normal' upbringing and encouraged them to hold jobs and work toward their goals without much assistance. "I also think we kept their worlds really normal when they were young," Ripa explained on the podcast. "They always, from the earliest ages they could, had part-time jobs, always. And ... in their friend circle, they were like the only ones to have jobs." Michael is now a producer, writer and actor, Lola is a singer-songwriter and Joaquin is hoping to follow in his parents' footsteps after majoring in theater performance at the University of Michigan. He graduated in May. "Our children are fully aware,' Ripa said when discussing how her family is recognized due to their talk show status. 'They'll meet people on the street that will come up to them and say, 'I watched you grow up. It is such a pleasure to see you as an adult.'' She continued, "When my kids were little, they had the opportunity to come on and do, like, little segments ... and people got a glimpse into their lives. And then they grew up, and they move on, and they move out, and they move out of the country in some cases, and people don't get to regularly check in with them. And so I feel like, once in a while, it's important to sort of let people in because I feel like they had a group experience. My kids had a group childhood. It was like they had lots of aunties, lots of uncles, lots of grandparents.' Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' Daughter Lola Graduates From NYU: 'We Are So Proud of You' Joaquin recently shared a glimpse at his post-college life via Instagram, posting photos of his graduation and more. 'Now this is content,' Ripa commented on the post, with a fan writing back, 'You and your hubby are great parents and raised a beautiful family!!! ❤️.' Lola also keeps Live viewers updated on her life in the U.K. via social media, sharing photos of her escapades abroad — including snaps with boyfriend Cassius Kidston. Solve the daily Crossword

Oprah Winfrey Tells Kelly Ripa Not to Quit Her Talk Show: 'It's Not Time'

NEED TO KNOW Oprah Winfrey told Kelly Ripa not to quit Live during a chat on Ripa's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast Winfrey told Ripa that "it's not the time for you to step away," and that she and husband Mark Consuelos "are in a groove" Winfrey also reflected on her time hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show, which ran from 1986 until 2011Oprah Winfrey is imparting some advice to fellow talk show mainstay Kelly Ripa. During a recent appearance on Ripa's podcast, Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Winfrey urged Ripa not to quit Live with Kelly and Mark anytime soon. "I've been at the talk show now for 25 years, so I'm asking for a friend. How did you know it was time to step away?" Ripa, who joined Live as a permanent co-host in 2001, asked Winfrey, who famously hosted her own eponymous talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, from 1986 until 2011. "First of all, it's not time for you to step away," Winfrey responded. "And I, if I were advising you, I would say absolutely not." Winfrey told Ripa that she and her husband, Mark Consuelos, "are in a groove, and that groove continues to work." Ripa told Winfrey that she and Consuelos, who joined her as co-host in 2023, "have fun" together. Winfrey then praised their talk show for being "easy" and "light" but also "serious enough when it needs to be." Most importantly, Winfrey said it's "not a grind," before reflecting on how her own show became a bit too much for her to deal with personally. "As much as I loved being a part of the show every day, and as much as I loved the audience, I'm telling you, the nature of what we were doing every day became just so hard." Ripa pointed out that Winfrey was "dealing with very serious topics a lot of the time." Winfrey opened up about her decision to pull out of Emmy consideration midway through its run, with Ripa joking that it was due to her running out of shelf space. The talk show icon said pushing for awards became "not even worth [it]" to her because she was more focused on "putting out the effort to do good things, to be a force for good in the world" through her show. "It's not gonna be measured by an award at the end of the year. It's measured in every viewer response," she reasoned. "I've said many times, your legacy is every life you touch. It's measured in all the lives that are being affected by what you're doing and saying." The Color Purple actress said she still will "hold in reverence all the opportunities we had to reach into people's lives and be there for them in ways that mattered." Winfrey then implored Ripa by saying, "Don't let go of the platform that you have." "Do not do it," Winfrey said. "Don't even consider it, because I feel that the reach that you have, the audience that you've built, the family that you've created — both inside the studio and in the rest of the world — is really more vital and important now than ever before." Ripa agreed with Winfrey and said that, in her "fantasy world," The Oprah Winfrey Show would come back. "I feel if somebody could get us through the dark times that we currently seem to be stuck in, it would be you guiding us," she said. Ripa then said she agreed with Winfrey's sentiments about Live, pointing out it likely connects with viewers "because it's not anxiety-inducing." "I have to remember that there are certain people that I will never know … who are counting on me and counting on the show," she added. Kelly Ripa reveals husband Mark Consuelos prefers morning sex, which she finds 'disgusting': 'He'll never learn'

No TMI here: Kelly Ripa is dropping her brutally honest thoughts about husband Mark Consuelos' preference for morning sex, which she says she finds "disgusting." Ripa's latest candid NSFW revelation came about on the latest episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fatpodcast, when the Live with Kelly and Mark star asked host Amanda Hirsch, "I don't know about you in your marriage, but I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?" "Definitely not morning,' Hirsch quickly replied. "Do not breathe on me in the morning." "But men are morning people," Ripa pointed out, as a grossed-out Hirsch gave "props" to anyone who is getting intimate in the morning. "I find it disgusting," Ripa agreed. Hirsch then asked if Consuelos, to whom Ripa has been married since 1996, only wants to have sex in the morning. "Only in the morning. He hasn't learned. He'll never learn,' Ripa joked, adding, "He's a guy. He's never going to learn." "I said to him, 'Here's the thing,'" she continued. "'There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way, 'cause it feels like 90 percent of the time, it's your way. And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.'" (Consuelos officially joined Ripa as cohost of Live with Kelly and Mark in April 2023.) As for why she finds morning sex to be repulsive, Ripa clarified, "He wants to kiss, and I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out. And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people in the morning]." The two agreed that men just "don't care" about things like retainers or morning breath or bed hair. "That d--- has a brain of its own and it doesn't see the retainer," Ripa added, before joking, "I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning." The TV host clarified that, regardless of preferences, they don't have sex every morning. The two of them working together on a morning show with very early call times has had surprising benefits to that effect — at least, for Ripa's sake. "The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week," she said of Consuelos. "It's so early and it's like a miracle." "May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction," Ripa joked. "He's in his mid-50s now. Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!" Elsewhere on the podcast, Ripa discussed working with Consuelos, going viral for everything she says, marriage secrets, why she won't be getting a boob job, and more. TV host Kelly Ripa blasts husband Mark Consuelos for ‘repulsive' sex desire: ‘I'm already pre-disgusted'

US TV personality Kelly Ripa has dragged her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos over his 'repulsive' desire to have morning sex. Ripa discussed her sex life with Consuelos on Wednesday's episode of Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. 'I don't know about you, in your marriage, but I'm going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?' Ripa asked Hirsch, to which the podcast host replied, 'Definitely evening. Do not breathe on me in the morning.' The Live with Kelly and Mark star, 54, then claimed that all men prefer to get it on in the morning. 'I find it disgusting,' Ripa said, adding that Consuelos, 54, wants to have sex 'only in the morning.' 'He'll never learn. He's a guy,' she joked. Ripa admitted to telling her husband of 29 years that she needs him to sometimes be OK with hooking up at night. 'I said to him, 'Here's the thing,'' she recalled. ''There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90 per cent of the time it's your way. And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only.'' Ripa said that Consuelos also wants to kiss her in the morning — an act she finds very unsexy. 'I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,' she said. 'And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people.]' But Ripa noted that men 'don't care' and that the 'd**k has a brain of its own.' She then joked, 'I'm already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.' The former actress clarified that they don't have sex every morning — especially now that they both star in their early morning show together. 'The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,' she said. 'Which is like a miracle.' 'May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction,' she prayed jokingly. Ripa pointed out that Consuelos is in his mid-50s and asked why he hasn't already started showing signs of impotence. 'Shouldn't that be happening now? I was promised!' she laughed. Ripa did, however, share her secret to how she and Consuelos keep things spicy after almost 30 years of marriage. 'It's like exercise. The more you do it, the more you do it,' she said of having sex. 'You just have to do it, and then you're like, 'Oh! I remember why I like this.'' Ripa said that it's easy to deprioritise lovemaking when life gets too busy. 'You're exhausted, your kids are young, you're working full-time, you have a lot on your plate, and that can easily get pushed by the wayside,' she said. The couple met on set of the soap opera, All My Children, in 1995 and quickly began dating. She and Consuelos tied the knot a year later and went on to welcome three children: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. In May, Ripa admitted that the upside to being an empty-nester is that she and Consuelos can get busy in the bedroom at all times. 'Your entire life becomes nudity in the household wherever you want,' she said on her show at the time. Ripa said that they are a 'total freak show all the time' years after sharing that her daughter has accidentally walked in on them doing it on more than one occasion.
