Liverpool parade struck by 'vehicle plowing into crowd' with injuries reported
A large police presence is in place on Water Street in Liverpool after an incident which followed the closing stages of Liverpool's Premier League title ceremony. At the moment, details are scarce, but there are unconfirmed reports on social media that a vehicle collided with pedestrians. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are currently dealing with reports of a road traffic collision in Liverpool city centre. The Premier League has explained why James Tarkowski escaped a red card for a terrible challenge on Alexis Mac Allister, which left the Liverpool midfielder rolling around on the turf in agony during the Merseyside derby.
