Ex-Sundowns and Pirates coach bags Uefa Pro License!

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Venda Football Academy coach Michael Loftman has acquired his Uefa Pro License. Loftman has been away from the limelight of South African football since leaving Sundowns where he worked with Rulani Mokwena. But prior to his move to Sundowns, Loftman had worked at Orlando Pirates as a Performance Analyst. He also had a stint with the Egypt national team as a coach/analyst when former Bafana Bafana mentor Carlos Quieroz was there. Now, it appears Loftman has used his time away from the limelight wisely as he is now a Uefa Pro License holder. This means the London-born mentor can coach anywhere in the world, including in Europe's big five leagues. 'It's been 17 years since I began my coaching career journey, and it has taught me far more about life than football. 'Thank you everyone who has supported me along the way – colleagues, lecturers, players, tutors and friends. 'I'm looking forward to continuing my work developing people, players, coaches, and teams,' concluded Loftman.
