Waterside Mahogany celebrates opening seven show homes

Article content Multi-award winning builder Logel Homes officially launched Waterside Mahogany on May 29 with the opening of seven stellar show homes. Article content Logel chairman and CEO Tim Logel, president Brayden Logel and construction manager Kevin Logel, cut the ribbon on the first of eight condominium buildings west of Lake Mahogany, a southeast community by Hopewell Residential. Article content Article content Article content The sales and design presentation centre plus six condo floor plans are on the building's main floor with the seventh, and most spectacular show suite, on the fifth. Waterside will eventually have 639 units with 12 different floor plans. The first phase is already 30 per cent sold. Article content Article content 'We're delivering industry-leading quality and building timelines. This building was built in less than a year and the Canadian average for a building this size is two years. Even though this seems fast, customers tell us the quality is even better than when we were taking a longer time to build,' said Tim in his opening remarks. Article content Logel Homes, BILD Calgary Region's multi-family large volume builder of the year, has developments in Silverton, Seton, Sage Hill and Livingston plus one in Canmore. With every new project, the Logel team brings forward new ideas and requests from customers. The prevailing feedback has been about design enhancements and perfecting the livability of smaller spaces. Article content Article content 'We looked at what the popular components of a single-family home might be and put them in our condos and town homes. I think you can see what we've done in our kitchens, some of which are larger than kitchens in single-family homes in some areas of Calgary,' said Tim, who leveraged four decades of sales and construction experience to launch the Logel family brand in 2018. Article content Several floor plans are sold out. The remaining one- and two-bedroom options in the current phase, with 472 to 1,298 square feet of living space, are priced from $249,900 to $759,000. There are familiar plan names in Waterside's show home lineup, like the Cohen, the Carr, the Atwood, Findlay, Richler and Jackson. Each suite is designed and dressed in signature Logel style with built in closets, dual master baths, elegant lighting, expansive windows, built-in ovens, countertop ranges and waterfall kitchen islands.
