Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 Full Winners List: Solo Leveling bags Anime of the year
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards finally took place in Tokyo, Japan. The star-studded live ceremony honoured the creators, musicians and performers powering the global impact of anime. This year's standout is Solo Leveling, which dominated with multiple major wins, including Anime of the Year, Best New Series, Best Action, Best Score, and Best Main Character. The Korean webtoon-turned-anime also picked up accolades for Best Ending Sequence, Best English Voice Artist Performance (Aleks Le), and more, marking it as the biggest winner of the top honours included Look Back, which earned Film of the Year, while Ninja Kamui was recognized as Best Original Anime. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc won Best Continuing Series and Best Animation, reinforcing its ongoing popularity and technical brilliance. The awards night was once again by beloved voice actress Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira, the live event blended star power, musical performances, and heartfelt tributes to the anime presenters included a diverse lineup of global anime fans such as Kacey Musgraves, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Damiano David, Rina Sawayama, Pabllo Vittar, Chloe Kim, Zak Penn, and Japan's own Dean Fujioka, Kanata Hongo, Mayu Matsuoka, and Saya performances were another highlight for the night. Hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts delivered a live rendition of Bling-Bang-Bang-Born from Mashle, while rock legends FLOW performed DAYS in honor of Eureka Seven's 20th anniversary. Fan-favorite LiSA wowed the crowd with her iconic hits crossing field, Datte Atashino Hero, and gurenge from Demon Slayer. A particularly emotional moment of the night was the presentation of the inaugural Global Impact Award to Attack on Titan, honoring its cultural significance and decade-long legacy. The final chapter of the series aired in late 2024, closing a landmark era in anime.
