Princess Anne man dies of injuries sustained in Salisbury motorcycle crash
A Princess Anne man has died of injuries sustained in a May 11 motorcycle crash in Salisbury.
Shortly before 5 p.m. May 11, Salisbury Police Officers responded to the area of E. Salisbury Parkway and Tilghman Road. to investigate a report of a crash involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that had apparently collided with a motorcycle and its operator. EMS was already on the scene and rendering aid to motorcycle operator.
An initial investigation revealed that 48 year old Lorenzo Taylor of Princess Anne was operating a 2020 Harley Davidson traveling eastbound on E. Salisbury Parkway while trying to cross the intersection of Tilghman Road. The motorcycle apparently collided with another vehicle, a 2014 Nissan Murano, which was traveling southbound on Tilghman Road.
Taylor was transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan also was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Maryland State Police.
