Remembrance service reset ANDERSON — Due to inclement weather Sunday, Feb. 16, the Wallace Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 1518 Forkner St., Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society annual Remembrance and Roll Call Service has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. after the 10 a.m. worship service. Larry A. Gholston, who passed in 2024 and was a lifelong member of Wallace, will be remembered during a memorial service that will include a candlelighting ceremony. The Rev. Timothy L. Taylor will officiate his first Remembrance and Roll Call Service as Wallace Temple's new and 30th pastor in 104 years. Salem Township program March 6 MIDDLETOWN — The Delaware County Historical Society will present 'Lost and Found: Salem Township' on Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary at Crossroads Lutheran Church, 9700 W. Henry County Road 700 South. The hour-long discussion will be delivered by Chris Flook, senior lecturer at the Ball State Department of Media, volunteer at the Delaware County Historical Society, and editor of 'The Society Monthly.' Also speaking will be Ted Shideler, board member of the historical society, editor of 'The Society Quarterly' and publisher of 'Hiding in Plain Sight.' A short question-and-answer session will follow the presentations. Black history program planned ANDERSON — The Anderson Steppers will present a Black History program Sunday, Feb. 23, at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of Anderson High School, 4610 Madison Ave. Cost is $10 per person (cash or Cash App).
