Second ultra-powerful Lotus EV joins the Dubai Police fleet following the acquisition of an Eletre last year
Considering it has a Bugatti Veyron in its fleet, Dubai's police department can confidently claim the title of coolest lineup of crim-busting cars in the world, and now it's taking a strong interest in the British stuff too. And no, we aren't talking about a 56-reg Astra diesel.
Y'see, the Middle East's most boujee blues and twos team has now taken delivery of its second all-electric Lotus; an Emeya S which follows in the footsteps of an Eletre R that was purchased last year. Must remember that Lotus has now removed the S and R monikers for new Emeyas and Eletres, though. Anyway, the saloon will join the Tourist Police Department, so its job will be to silently prowl around popular attractions like the Burj Khalifa.
