Berkeley man charged with 24-year-old woman's shooting death
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Berkeley man is in custody for allegedly shooting and killing a woman he was dating. According to Mary Schmitt, a St. Louis County Police Department spokeswoman, the shooting happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. on June 3 in the 4600 block of Wallington Court, in the Norwood Court municipality. Police said officers found evidence of a shooting and later learned the victim, D'Asja Barrow-Foote, had been taken to the hospital. Subscribe Now Investigators with the county's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons learned a gray Nissan Altima fled the scene just after the shooting. Police said the car belonged to Antonio M. Brown, 36, who had a relationship with Barrow-Foote. On Friday, June 6, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Brown with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Endangered Person Advisory issued for 42-year-old Florissant woman
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – An Endangered Person Advisory was issued Wednesday morning after a 42-year-old woman was reported missing in Florissant. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, Shimika Braddix, 42, was reported missing around 6:45 a.m. after an incident on the 3500 block of Arpent Lane in Florissant. Braddix was last seen on a RING camera walking out of her home, wearing an orange shirt, a bright red hoodie, and black pants. During the timeframe, a gray Buick Encore was seen multiple times circling the neighborhood and parking near the residence, police said. It is believed that Braddix may have left in the Buick, but the vehicle's license plate, direction of travel, and destination are unknown. Endangered Person Advisory issued for 33-year-old man near Florissant
ST. LOUIS – An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for a 33-year-old man in unincorporated St. Louis County, near Florissant. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, Andre Walker, 33, went missing at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday night after an incident at 11400 Mehl Avenue. Walker was a patient at a psychiatric care facility at the time he went missing, police said. He was able to escape the facility after he body-slammed the security door and entered a white Chevrolet Impala, which was waiting for him outside the building. Police identify officer struck by car on I-70 According to police, Walker is diagnosed as bipolar schizophrenic and has been known to be physically violent. He is described as a Black man standing at 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 300 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a dark complexion. Walker was last seen wearing a red jacket with black lettering and black pants. Endangered Person Advisory issued for 66-year-old man in St. Louis County
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – ST. LOUIS – An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued overnight Thursday morning in St. Louis County for a missing 66-year-old man. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, Thomas James Heugele III, 66, was last seen on camera walking out of the Dolan Memory Care Homes, located on the 11300 block of Dolan Way, around 12 a.m. Heugele suffers from dementia and was admitted to the facility in January, police said. Accused Missouri serial rapist may have raped women in Tucson, police say
An accused serial rapist, who lived in Tucson for a brief time, may have attacked women there, and investigators hope to hear from them, according to police in Missouri. Yahya Maly, 28, who is accused of rape, lived in Tucson for about a month between Dec. 3, 2022, to Jan. 17, 2023, the St. Louis County Police Department said. Investigators urged anyone who may have encountered Maly online or in person to reach out to local law enforcement. Maly was charged with numerous counts of rape, according to a Facebook post from the St. Louis County Police Department. Police said he is suspected of raping many women he met on dating apps and used "John" as a first name. Five women have come forward, the police department said in the Facebook post. A St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson said she did not know where the women were from. Other places Maly lived include Henrico County, Virginia; Chicago; Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Maly, who is from Ballwin, Missouri, faces two counts of first-degree rape or attempted rape, seven counts of second-degree rape, two counts of first-degree kidnapping, and two counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy.
