Liverpool release seven players as champions begin preparations for new season
The Reds have let seven of their academy players go as preparation for the new season begin in earnest, while eight of of young stars have been offered new contracts to stay
Liverpool have announced that seven Academy players have left the club following the expiration of their contracts.
Dominic Corness, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, Harry Evers, Lee Jonas, Jakub Ojrzynski, Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman, none of whom had played for the Reds' first-team, have all departed the new Premier League champions and will search for new clubs.
Meanwhile the Reds have offered new deals to eight young players - Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, Keyrol Figueroa, Kyle Kelly, Michael Laffey, Wellity Lucky, Terence Miles and Ranel Young - in the hope that they will stay at the club.
