David Beckham was included in the 2025 King's Birthday Honours List due to his contributions to sport and charity. 'I think the wait has been worth it for him because the monarchy itself has moved more into a blend of tradition and modern focus,' Ms Roberts told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. 'He's not really been acknowledged for that sort of football skill here; it's more about the charity work. 'You can see that genuine relationship he has with Charles. 'He's absolutely passionate and legitimate about his support for the Royal Family.'

Halle Berry ‘sticks' to new Cannes Film Festival dress guidelines
The Cannes Film Festival has changed its dress guidelines to ban nudity at the event. Sky News contributor Louise Roberts says the dress code has been 'tightened' recently. 'Any of those massive trains that actresses and Z-list wannabees, I guess … sort of trail up the red carpet, and it causes such a chaos,' Ms Roberts said. 'Halle Berry has come a cropper because she had a dress in mind which had one of these massive trains on it. 'She was photographed yesterday in quite a nice demure … black and white halter neck number.
