Behind bars, but Diddy rakes in millions! Clueless rich travellers fund rapper's $10M sex trafficking defence via secret jet scheme

Despite being behind bars and currently standing trial in a federal court, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, aka Puff Daddy or P. Diddy continues to make serious money, largely thanks to the luxury jet he owns. The rapper and entrepreneur is leasing out his $60 million Gulfstream G550, raking in millions even as he faces mounting legal trouble. His federal sex trafficking trial, which officially began on May 5 in Manhattan, has already seen high-profile testimony from witnesses including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, fellow artist Kid Cudi, and a former personal assistant. With legal fees reportedly soaring past the $10 million mark, it appears the embattled mogul is relying heavily on his jet's rental revenue to keep his defence strategy afloat. Diddy's jet earns millions under the radar As per a report, Diddy has quietly made $4.1 million since his arrest in September 2024 by renting out his sleek Gulfstream G550 called LoveAir — all while renters remain unaware that they're flying on a jet owned by the embattled rap mogul. The jet is listed and operated by luxury aviation company Silver Air, which handles all bookings without disclosing the aircraft's ownership. This strategic anonymity has allowed the business to continue uninterrupted despite the hip-hop mogul facing multiple lawsuits. With at least 126 flights completed and over 149,000 miles logged, the jet is also one of the aircraft that consumed the most miles last year. Inside Diddy's Gulfstream G550: $60M jet flying elite passengers The jet, flown 126 times as of May 20, offers high-end comfort with oak-toned interiors, oversized couches, and seating for 14. With an average rental of $32,597 per trip, the Gulfstream G550 has logged nearly 150,000 miles since Diddy's arrest. Private jet income helps cover Diddy's $10M legal defence With mounting legal expenses stemming from federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution, the private jet income helps cover Diddy's $10M legal defence. In addition to this, the hip-hop mogul has been forced to list his sprawling $61.5 million Beverly Hills mansion in a bid to raise funds. However, with the home sitting without buyers on the market for over 200 days, it's his $60 million private jet that has stepped in as his most reliable source of income. No relief for Diddy Meanwhile, Diddy has found himself with little to no help, as all his high-profile connections have turned a blind eye to his trial, seemingly distancing themselves from the musician. Although his family stands by him, his professional career is practically over. If found guilty on all charges, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of life behind bars.

Diddy making MILLIONS from prison with 'high-end services' as sex trafficking trial continues

Sean ' Diddy ' Combs is allegedly making millions from prison by renting out his $60M private jet to wealthy travelers who have no idea he's the owner. The rapper, who is currently facing a sex trafficking trial in Manhattan federal court, has raked in $4.1M since his arrest on September 16, according to the US Sun. Diddy's jet, a Gulfstream G550 registered to his company LoveAir LLC, has been used by unwitting clients at least 126 times up to May 20, racking up 149,540 miles. Luxury operator Silver Air has been renting out the plane, and customers spend an average $32,597 per 1,186-mile journey, according to the US Sun. has contacted Silver Air and Diddy's attorneys for comment. The jet-black long-range aircraft can carry up to 14 passengers in opulent 7'3"by 43'11" cabins cabins, with a maximum range of 6,500 nautical miles. Photographs of the jet on Silver Air's website show its classy oak-colored interior with large padded couches and chairs which come with plenty of legroom. The jet rental could be the 55-year-old rapper's main source of income, as he has plugged at least $10 million into fighting sex trafficking charges in the courtroom. He previously put his palatial $61.5M Los Angeles mansion on the market as he scrambled to cover the cost of assembling a daunting team of veteran attorneys. Diddy's 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom Beverly Hills mansion seems to have been tainted by the scandal and has sat on the market for more than 200 days. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn accused of operating a racketeering conspiracy, two charges of sex trafficking and two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy has denied all accusations. He faces life in jail if convicted. The first week of the music mogul's sex trafficking trial saw a litany of bombshell claims and evidence unveiled before the Manhattan courtroom in New York. R&B singer Cassandra 'Cassie' Ventura delivered horrifyingly graphic testimonies alleging that the music mogul physically and psychologically abused her over more than a decade from 2007-2018. The 38-year-old detailed the regular beatings she allegedly experienced, the rapper's use of blackmail and scare tactics to coerce and manipulate, depraved sex acts she claims she was forced to participate in - and the medical toll she suffered as a result. A male escort allegedly hired by Combs to engage in a variety of sexual acts with Ventura during his notorious 'freak off' parties also took the stand. He explained how 'Diddy' purportedly pushed Ventura into unprotected sex with strangers and orchestrated various sexual encounters for his own pleasure. In response, lawyers for Combs sought to portray Ventura as a willing and eager participant in the music mogul's sexual lifestyle. His defense says that, while there may be a case against him for domestic violence, nothing he did amounted to a criminal enterprise. Combs was once worth nearly $1B thanks to a string of hits on his Bad Boy Records label in the 1990s, including his 1997 chart-topper with singer Faith Evans, I'll Be Missing You. But he was arrested in September last year, months after Ventura sued him for sexual assault in a civil case. The move prompted dozens more women to come forward with their own legal claims, triggering a criminal investigation. Combs' downfall was hastened by the release of a devastating video of him beating Ventura in the corridor of a hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. The video, which was first broadcast by CNN last May, was played in full to the trial before Ventura, a male escort and others gave their testimonies. Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the trial would hear testimony from victims who 'will tell you about some of the most painful experiences of their lives. 'During this trial, you are going to hear about 20 years of the defendant's crimes,' she said. 'But he didn't do it alone, he had an inner circle of bodyguards and high-ranking employees who helped him commit crimes and helped him cover them up. 'Kidnapping, arson, drugs, sex crimes, bribery and obstruction. These are just some of the crimes the defendant and his inner circle committed again and again. 'You're going to hear about all of them during this trial.' The trial is set to continue for another six weeks.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' net worth, homes, plane and more assets: What we know

Sean "Diddy" Combs has a lot to lose as his sex-crimes trial continues. The embattled music mogul is facing potential life in prison if convicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty. He is also fighting a Justice Department forfeiture action that could cost him much – if not most – of an empire that prosecutors allege he used as part of a criminal racketeering enterprise from 2008 to the present. His lawyers have hired as a consultant the former deputy chief of the Justice Department's Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section, USA TODAY has learned. So what are Combs' assets, and what could be seized if he is convicted? In 2024, Forbes magazine estimated Combs' net worth at $400 million – a significant drop from its 2019 figure of $740 million. Both Combs and his team later claimed he was a billionaire, Forbes said, despite offering no documentation to back up the claim.
