Morgan Wallen's New Album Is Already Spotify's Most-Streamed Country Album of 2025
Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem hasn't even been out for 24 hours, and it's already the most-streamed country album of 2025. On Friday, Spotify confirmed the news on social media, celebrating the milestone. 'Morgan Wallen just made country history—again,' Spotify wrote on X with the statistic. The service did not share additional information on the streaming numbers, but at least eight of the LP's songs had well over 8 million streams at time of publication. (Wallen also led the album with 'I Had Some Help' follow-up 'I Ain't Coming Back' with Post Malone and well-performing singles 'Smile' and 'I'm a Little Crazy.') I'm the Problem clocks in at just shy of two hours, and features 37 songs such as 'What I Want' with Tate McRae, 'Number 3 and Number 7' with Eric Church, 'Come Back as a Redneck' featuring Hardy, and 'The Dealer' with Ernest. Wallen's I'm the Problem also broke the record for most-streamed country record in its first day on Amazon Music. Wallen's album is expected to land on top of the Billboard 200 chart, which already features two of his other albums in the Top Ten: Wallen's 2023 album, One Thing at a Time, is at Number Four, and has been on the chart for 114 weeks, while 2021's Dangerous: The Double Album sits at Number Nine. Wallen will celebrate the album at his Sand in My Boots Music Festival in Alabama this weekend. He'll then start his upcoming I'm the Problem tour in late June in Houston. He'll head to stadiums in Miami, the Bay Area, Cleveland, Toronto, and Boston throughout the summer. Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Koe Wetzel, Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, and Anne Wilson are among the special guests planned for the run. 'As I've been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I'm The Problem Tour. See y'all there,' he said to announce the run. Morgan Wallen Pushes Three Radio Smashes To New Peaks — On Different Charts
Morgan Wallen sees three radio hits reach new peaks on separate Billboard charts, with 'Love ... More Somebody,' 'I'm the Problem,' and 'Just in Case' all soaring. KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - SEPTEMBER 22: Morgan Wallen performs onstage for night two of his One Night At A Time tour at Neyland Stadium on September 22, 2024 in Knoxville, Tennessee. (Photo byfor for Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time 2024) Before Morgan Wallen released his latest album, I'm the Problem, which dropped on Friday (May 16), the country superstar spent more than half a year rolling out singles from the full-length. Many of those tracks — proper singles and promotional cuts alike — were pushed to the American public via radio, which remains hugely important among country artists. This week, three different singles by the singer-songwriter not only appear on radio charts, but rise to new peaks. Each one climbs on a separate tally, seemingly reaching a distinct audience. 'Love Somebody' is the highest-ranking of the trio of Wallen tunes that reached new highs on radio tallies this frame. That track, which arrived in October of last year, steps up to No. 11 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, just one spot away from becoming another top 10 for the singer-songwriter – and it likely will get there soon. The title track from I'm the Problem isn't far behind that position, only on a different roster. That cut surges three spots to No. 13 on the Radio Songs tally, a list that accounts for all formats and genres and ranks the tunes that generate the largest total audience impressions across the U.S. Wallen is already one of the most successful names on the Country Airplay ranking, and it's likely that I'm the Problem will yield several more favorites at country radio. At the moment, 'Just in Case' — the most recent proper single from the full-length — continues to grow on that chart. This frame, it leaps two spaces to No. 16, which now stands as its peak showing, though it will almost certainly continue soaring in the coming frames. Two other singles by Wallen also appear on at least one Billboard-published radio roster. 'I Had Some Help,' a collaboration with Post Malone, was released more than a year ago and is still living on both the Radio Songs and Adult Contemporary charts. On the former, after 53 weeks, it remains inside the top 20. The cut is performing even better on the latter, where it rises to No. 9 — just one spot below its all-time best placement. Another collaboration with Malone, titled 'I Ain't Coming Back,' is just getting started at country radio. After less than a month, it recently cracked the top 40 and this frame settles at No. 38. The promotional tune might not receive a full push, especially now that the album is out, but Wallen's popularity may be so great that it keeps growing unaided.

Country star Morgan Wallen sets record within hours of new album release — but listeners say it's ‘Taylor Swift for dudes'
Country music star Morgan Wallen has dropped his new album, an extensive 37-track record, which has already broken a record. Within hours of its Friday release, I'm The Problem had already become Spotify's most-streamed country album in 2025 so far, the company announced. Yet, despite its impressive early milestone, Wallen's album hasn't totally resonated with listeners, with one X user describing it as 'Taylor Swift for dudes that wear trucker hats and peaked in high school.' A second more plainly labeled it 'trash,' while a third found that 'Morgan Wallen's voice and singing tone sound like the noise I imagine a cat makes once punched.' 'Morgan Wallen makes country music for people who don't like country music,' another argued. Others, however, hailed the album, with one fan declaring it had 'no misses.' 'Morgan Wallen drops another masterpiece,' a second agreed. I'm The Problem comes two years after the release of his 2023 album, One Thing At A Time. It features rising pop star Tate McRae, fellow country singer Eric Church, singer-songwriter HARDY, Grammy-winning artist Post Malone, and Nashville singer ERNEST. Though Wallen, 32, is considered one of the most commercially successful artists in the U.S., he has also been dogged by a string of scandals throughout his career. Last month, the 'Love Somebody' hitmaker returned to Saturday Night Live as the musical guest alongside host Oscar-winning Anora star Mikey Madison. As the credits began rolling, Wallen quickly walked off stage instead of staying behind to congratulate the cast members until the broadcast ended, as most guests usually do. He then took to Instagram to share a photo from a plane window, alongside the caption: 'Get me to God's Country.' Wallen's behavior came under intense scrutiny, with viewers criticizing his swift exit as 'tone-deaf.' Sources close to Wallen, however, insisted that there was no ill intent behind his abrupt departure or subsequent social media post. It was also revealed that he had walked on and exited the stage the same way during rehearsals, and he may not have been thinking about the camera at the end of the broadcast. The previous year, the 'I Had Some Help' singer was arrested and charged with three felony counts and one misdemeanor after throwing a chair off the roof of a six-story Nashville bar. Last December Wallen reached a plea deal with prosecutors, agreeing to plead guilty to misdemeanor charges. In exchange, his charges were reduced to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment without a weapon. He was sentenced to spend seven days in a DUI education center and be under supervised probation for two years. He later addressed the incident, writing on social media: 'I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. 'I've touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief's [the Nashville bar]. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility,' he added. 'I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe.' I'm The Problem is out now.

Morgan Wallen And Post Malone Launch Their New Single At No. 1
Morgan Wallen and Post Malone's new track 'I Ain't Coming Back' debuts at No. 1 on iTunes, setting ... More up what looks to be another major Billboard hit for both stars. INDIO, CALIFORNIA - APRIL 28: (FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY) (L-R) Post Malone and Morgan Wallen perform at the T-Mobile Mane Stage during the 2024 Stagecoach Festival at Empire Polo Club on April 28, 2024 in Indio, California. (Photo byfor Stagecoach) Morgan Wallen and Post Malone have the biggest new song in America at the beginning of this tracking week, and there wasn't much competition. The two superstars' latest joint single, 'I Ain't Coming Back,' is off to an amazing start, and if early signs are any indication, the cut could be headed for a massive debut on the Billboard charts in just a few days. As it rockets to the top of the iTunes ranking and gives Wallen another win in an already-packed release cycle, 'I Ain't Coming Back' is shaping up to be a smash. 'I Ain't Coming Back' wasted no time in racing up iTunes' ranking of the bestselling songs in the U.S. Shortly after its arrival, the track soared to No. 1 on the platform's Top Songs chart, where it currently rules as of the time of writing. The new arrival – a collaboration with Malone – gives Wallen control over the top two spots on the list. His solo cut 'I'm the Problem' is sitting comfortably in second place, weeks after it was first unveiled. While 'I Ain't Coming Back' and 'I'm the Problem' are clearly the main attractions at the moment, Wallen is dominating the iTunes chart with more than just his two newest releases. A trio of tunes from his forthcoming project all live inside the highest tier as well, giving him control over half of the spots in the top 10 – and on a Friday, when competition should be at its toughest with a slew of new arrivals. In addition to both 'I Ain't Coming Back' and 'I'm the Problem,' Wallen's songs 'Just In Case,' 'I'm a Little Crazy,' and 'Love Somebody' all appear in the uppermost region as well, settling at Nos. 4, 6, and 10, respectively. 'I Ain't Coming Back' serves as the sixth official single from Wallen's upcoming full-length I'm the Problem, which is expected to arrive next month. If it debuts inside the top 10 on the Hot 100 — as early sales data suggests it might — it will join a string of recent hits that have already made the upcoming release one of the year's most anticipated. The five previously dropped focus tracks — 'Lies Lies Lies,' 'Love Somebody,' 'Smile,' 'I'm the Problem,' and 'Just in Case' — have all reached the top 10 on the Hot 100. Of that group, 'Love Somebody' remains the only one to hit No. 1, though 'I'm the Problem' came just one space shy of the summit. This isn't the first time Malone and Wallen have joined forces — and the last time they did, it paid off brilliantly. In 2024, Malone tapped Wallen for the twangy crossover hit 'I Had Some Help,' which opened at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and ultimately finished as one of the year's biggest singles. Now, the pair could be on track to replicate that success, or at least come close. A top 10 debut on the Hot 100 seems almost inevitable for 'I Ain't Coming Back,' and a No. 1 launch isn't out of the question either.

Morgan Wallen Is Looking For Another No. 1 Single
Morgan Wallen set to drop 'I Ain't Coming Back' with Post Malone this Friday, eyeing another No. 1 ... More just weeks before his massive album I'm the Problem arrives. NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - NOVEMBER 08: EDITORIAL USE ONLY: Post Malone and Morgan Wallen attend the 2023 CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena on November 08, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. (Photo by Taylor Hill/WireImage) Morgan Wallen is looking to chart a new No. 1 hit, and this time around, he's hoping to do so with a little help from a familiar friend. On Tuesday (April 15), the country superstar announced his next single, 'I Ain't Coming Back,' which is slated to arrive this coming Friday (April 18). The track marks Wallen's second collaboration with Post Malone, and if the past is any indicator of future success, the two may have a real winner on their hands. The two chart-toppers have already proved how powerful they can be when they join forces. Last year, Malone recruited Wallen for his country pivot 'I Had Some Help,' which quickly rocketed to No. 1 on the Hot 100. That win gave both artists another chart-topping cut to add to their list of champions, and now they may be headed for one more. This time around, it's Wallen who taps Malone for a feature, and in doing so, he's returning the favor. With both musicians boasting multiple rulers on their own and one shared success already under their belts, 'I Ain't Coming Back' has a serious shot at debuting high on the Hot 100. A launch at No. 1 isn't out of the question, and a top 10 entry feels all but guaranteed. 'I Ain't Coming Back' will apparently as the sixth proper single from Wallen's upcoming album I'm the Problem, which is due out May 16. The sprawling project — rumored to feature 37 tracks — has already seen Wallen land five hits inside the top 10 on the Hot 100, including the title cut, 'Just In Case,' 'Smile,' 'Lies, Lies, Lies,' and 'Love Somebody.' Of those, only 'Love Somebody' managed to reach No. 1, while "I'm the Problem" narrowly missed the summit, stalling at No. 2. Dropping 'I Ain't Coming Back' just weeks before I'm the Problem lands feels like a perfectly calculated move. The single could give Wallen his second No. 1 hit from this era right before the complete project arrives, which will only heighten expectations and drum up more excitement for the set. The album follows Wallen's pattern of delivering lengthy, hit-filled efforts. His last releases – 2021's Dangerous: The Double Album and 2023's One Thing at a Time — both dominated the Billboard 200 for weeks on end, and there's no reason to think I'm the Problem won't do the same. Post Malone, meanwhile, seems increasingly comfortable in the country world. 'I Had Some Help' introduced him to a new audience and expanded his stylistic reach, and it fronted his album in the style, F-1 Trillion. Promotion of that set has quieted down, but he may very well be on track to returning to the Hot 100's summit in only a matter of days.
