J-D rolls into Class C boys lacrosse state championship game
CORTLAND, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)– The Jamesville-DeWitt boys lacrosse team is headed back to the state championship game for the third straight season, cruising past Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 23-4 in the NYSPHSAA Class C semifinals.
The Red Rams jumped out to an 8-1 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Lucas Patchen scored five of his game-high seven goals in the first quarter. 12 different players scored atleast one goal for J-D.
Jamesville-Dewitt (17-3) will square off against Somers (Section I champion) on Saturday for the Class C state championship. The game will be played at Hobart & William Smith Colleges at 10 a.m.
