TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida woman is now a multi-millionaire after she won the final top prize from a $20 scratch-off ticket. The Florida Lottery announced Friday that Lucinda Joseph-Rann, 54, claimed a $5 million prize from the $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH scratch-off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Joseph-Rann bought the winning ticket at the Gate Petroleum Company located at 60 Airport Center Drive in Jacksonville. Lucinda Joseph-Rann hit a jackpot prize with her scratch-off ticket in the $5,000,000 Crossword Cash game, the Florida Lottery announced May 9. She bought her ticket at a Gate Petroleum Company convenience store, which received a $10,000 bonus for selling it, near Jacksonville International Airport, lottery officials said. Records show she beat the 1-in-4,012,065 odds to win one of four prizes of $5 million in the game. No more top prizes remain in the game. The 54-year-old Duval County woman claimed her winnings in Tallahassee as a lump sum of $3,262,138, officials said.
