Experience the luck of the Irish in downtown Panama City this weekend
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Follow the rainbow to downtown Panama City this weekend for a St. Patrick's Day celebration.
Saturday, the Luck of the Irish Bingo Sip & Stroll kicked off. Despite the ongoing construction on Harrison Ave., the sidewalks are open, so you can visit the 25 participating businesses to complete your bingo card.
House of Henry is hosting the main St. Patrick's Day celebration. Festivities kicked off Saturday morning with a kegs and eggs breakfast.
Bay County residents urged to take precautions against rabies
The event features foot-stomping, live Irish music throughout the day. There's something for the whole family with activities like stein hoisting contests, scavenger hunts, costume contests, and more.
'This is Panama City's local Irish pub; this is the only one in town that's locally made and locally run and operated. And we're trying to keep the culture of St. Patrick's Day alive and keep it in a family friendly, friendly environment for everybody to enjoy,' House of Henry event coordinator Corey Hall said.
There's still plenty of time to get your green on if you missed Saturday's event. The schedule of events will repeat Sunday and Monday.
Drop off your completed bingo cards at House of Henry by 3 pm on Monday for a chance to win two prizes.
