A lorry has crashed into parked vehicles, a railway bridge and a building in the early hours. West Mercia Police officers were at Lower Galdeford in Ludlow following the collision which happened about 00:20 BST on Monday. No-one was injured during the incident and no arrests had been made, the force added. According to police, the road will be closed by the Ludlow Youth Centre "for a significant amount of time" and the public were asked to avoid the road if possible. "Officers are on scene at Lower Galdeford in Ludlow and the road remains closed after a lorry collided with several vehicles, a railway bridge and a building at around 12.20am this morning," the force said in a statement. It said the road would remain closed while it worked with partners to "understand the extent of the damage and any safety implications". Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call about the crash at 00:26 BST. Four fire appliances, including a rescue tender, were sent to the scene from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Wellington. The emergency services have not yet confirmed which building the lorry crashed into. The fire service sent four fire appliances, including a rescue tender, which were mobilised from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Mercia Police, who were also in attendance, said Lower Galdeford Road would be closed by the Ludlow Youth Centre "for a significant amount of time" and asked the public to avoid the road if possible.
