Bridgerton season 4 UAE release: Trailer, cast, story and more

Since it landed on Netflix back in 2020, Bridgerton has totally taken over our screens and our conversations. It's got everything – dreamy love stories, wild scandals, and that quirky mix of corsets paired with string-quartet covers of pop songs that somehow just works. From the juicy gossip at those fancy balls, or just can't get enough of Lady Whistledown's witty commentary, it's pretty impossible not to get totally swept up in all the drama. What's this season about? Now, all eyes are on Season 4 – and it's finally time for Benedict Bridgerton to take centre stage. While Netflix hasn't confirmed the exact plot just yet, book fans know his story is a swoony Cinderella-inspired arc: a masked ball, a mysterious woman, and a love that challenges class expectations. Yes, we're already counting down. The cast for season 4 and who's returning for the season? What we do know is that the cast is locked in and ready. Luke Thompson finally takes the lead as Benedict, the creative, quietly charming Bridgerton brother, alongside newcomer Yerin Ha as Sophie – the mysterious woman at the heart of his fairy-tale romance. Familiar faces are back too: Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as Anthony and Kate, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as Penelope and Colin, and Claudia Jessie as the ever-blunt Eloise. And of course, Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) is still reigning with flair. The ton's assembled – and the drama's just getting started When will season 4 be released? But here's the thing – the wait is long. Like, *really* long. Season 3 dropped in two parts in 2024, over two years after Season 2 aired, and Season 4 isn't expected until 2026. And even though Netflix has confirmed Seasons 5 and 6 are in the pipeline, no release dates have been announced. Fans are hyped, but they're also tired of the slow rollout. Still, if there's one thing *Bridgerton* does well, it's making us wait – and want more. So whether you're in it for the scandal, the slow glances, or the secret rendezvous, we'll be here… counting the days (and rewatching Seasons 2 and 3 for the hundredth time). If you love a romance ? A Sneak Peek At The Bridgerton Scene We're Waiting For

There may still be a long wait until our next trip to the Ton, but Netflix is making sure to throw fans of Bridgerton a few juicy morsels to tide them over until then. Each season of the hit period drama centres around a different member of the Bridgerton family, and it was announced last year that the next batch of episodes will centre around Luke Thompson 's character, Benedict. Fans of the original Bridgerton novel series will know that Benedict's love story begins with a visit to a masquerade ball – with Netflix offering viewers a first-look glimpse at this already-iconic scene in a new teaser clip. On Wednesday night, the streaming giant released a sneak peek at the moment Benedict first claps eyes on his new love interest, Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, whose past work includes Dune: Prophecy and Halo. Meanwhile, it's also been announced that Bridgerton will be back for two more seasons, with a fifth and sixth run having now been commissioned by Netflix. One of these will centre around Francesca Bridgerton's love story with Michaela Stirling, which was teased at the end of season three. This storyline has already generated a lot of conversation, as the character appears in the books as Michael Stirling, but has been reimagined for the TV series as a woman. Bridgerton author Julia Quinn has already given this change her seal of approval, telling fans: 'Anyone who has seen an interview with me from the past four years knows that I am deeply committed to the Bridgerton world becoming more diverse and inclusive as the stories move from book to screen.' 'I'm confident [that] when Francesca has her Bridgerton season, it will be the most emotional and heart-wrenching story of the show, just like When He Was Wicked has always been the true tear-jerker of the Bridgerton book series,' Julia added, urging Bridgerton fans to 'grant me and the Shondaland team some faith as we move forward'.

Bridgerton series five and six 'CONFIRMED' as Netflix bags huge investment for the show's future

Series five and six of Bridgerton has reportedly been confirmed. The fourth instalment of the much-loved Netflix series will return to screens in 2026 and now 'Netflix has shared a huge update on the show's future'. According to The Sun, Netflix has bagged a multi-million pound investment to make series five and six. A TV insider told the publication: 'After introducing the controversial gender swap at the end of series three which saw Michael Stirling switched to Michaela, there is a chance execs could skip ahead to Francesca's story. 'They certainly weren't afraid to dabble with Julia Quinn's timeline by swapping the order of Colin and Benedict's tales.' MailOnline has contacted Netflix for comment. Series four will centre on the love story of Luke Thompson's character Benedict Bridgerton and a new leading lady Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha. The previous three series saw Luke's onscreen siblings Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne), Jonathan Bailey (Anthony) and Luke Newton (Colin) take precedence in their respective episodes as viewers watched their love stories play out. It comes after a steamy season three between Penelope and Colin where fans finally got to see the pair enjoy married life and Penelope leave her gossip column, Lady Whistledown, behind. Australian actress Yerin plays the role of the love interest and is set to be the 27-year-old's big break after appearing in minor television shows such as Halo. Returning to the show is fan favourite, Johnathan Bailey, in his role as eldest son Anthony Bridgerton as filming began this month for the Netflix sensation. Season 4 will dive much more into the Regency era's upstairs-downstairs class politics than previous seasons, due to Sophie being of a lower class than Benedict and the Bridgerton family, as well as the fairytale and forbidden love tropes. Netflix confirmed: 'Despite his brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down. 'That is, until an enthralling woman captures Benedict's attention' Although a release date has not been announced yet, it is confirmed the season will be made of 8 parts and will take around 8 months to wrap up filming - Oli Higginson as Footman John, Sophie Lamont as Celia, Geraldine Alexander as Mrs. Wilson Netflix confirmed: 'Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down. 'That is, until an enthralling woman captures Benedict's attention at Violet Bridgerton's (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball. 'While Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she's actually Sophie, a resourceful maid with her own secrets and dreams.' Ahead of taking on this season's lead role Luke said of his character: 'Benedict has always been a little lost — or free depending on the way you want to look at it. But now he's trying to find something a bit more solid in himself.' Creator Shonda Rhymes added: 'He's a charming man who's trying to find his way. He's very delightful and funny. I'm excited for everybody to watch him.' Although a release date has not been announced yet, it is confirmed the season will be made of 8 parts and will take around 8 months to wrap up filming. Speaking to THR, showrunner Jess Brownell said: 'We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language. 'The writing takes a very long time as well, so we're kind of on a two-year pace, we're trying to speed up, but somewhere in that range.'
