Popular light trail confirms it will return to Warrington for 2025
A POPULAR light festival will be returning to Warrington. This winter, Gulliver's World will be welcoming back the Land of Lights. The event will feature new lanterns and displays and will run at the resort from November 2025 until January 2026. Promising to be a 'breathtaking spectacle', the trail will cover 12 dreamworlds including an array of incredible dinosaurs. In addition, there will be music, entertainment and street food with thousands of visitors expected once again. Parish council opens grant funding for community organisations
LYMM Parish Council is offering £8,000 in grant funding for community organisations. The first round of funding for 2025-26 is now open to Lymm community groups and organisations that plan and run events for residents. The deadline for applications is March 28, 2025, with project delivery needing to take place or start between April and September 2025. Previous beneficiaries include Lymm Festival, Lymm in Bloom, Lymm Repair Café, and the May Queen Festival, each utilising the funds for various community-centric purposes.
