Official specifications and detailed performance figures for both the electric and petrol M3 variants are expected closer to launch. BMW Neue Klasse M3: A 700+ bhp EV beast The all-electric M3 is confirmed to use an 800-volt system and produce upwards of 700 horsepower, placing it among the most powerful M cars to date. The electric powertrain will be based on BMW's new generation of performance EV technology, with a focus on precision handling rather than just straight-line speed. BMW will now pay for your registration BMW's 'Heart of Joy" control unit, which was introduced in the Vision Neue Klasse concept, will be integrated into the new M3. This system combines key performance controls—such as braking, energy recuperation, charging, drivetrain, and steering—into a single computing unit that processes data significantly faster than previous systems. According to BMW, this will enable more responsive and consistent handling, especially during cornering. BMW Neue Klasse M3: New inline-six engine Alongside the electric M3, BMW will offer a petrol-powered version featuring a newly developed six-cylinder engine. Dr. Mike Reichelt, head of the Neue Klasse project, confirmed in an interview with Top Gear that this internal combustion engine will be distinct from the current S58 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six used in today's M3. BMW has ruled out using smaller engines for the M3, including the possibility of a four-cylinder unit. Company representatives have indicated that such a move would not align with performance expectations for the M division's flagship sedan. Check out Upcoming Cars in India 2024, Best SUVs in India. Land purchased for Basingstoke hospital construction in 2037
The chief executive of an NHS trust has said she is "delighted" that it will be able to purchase land for a new Whitfield, the head of Hampshire Hospitals, confirmed it would buy a site near junction seven of the M3 for a new facility in January she expressed "disappointment" with the government decision to delay construction until said there was no update on the date of the build, but added that that the land purchase does "at least feel like progress". Hampshire Hospitals is expected to receive at least £2bn of funding as part of the Government's New Hospital it is part of the third wave of the scheme, meaning work will not begin on the new building for at least 12 Whitfield said they needed to secure this land so that the option "doesn't disappear on us".She admitted this did not guarantee that the hospital would be built at the site."It is entirely possible that in a decades time the world might have changed a bit," she said."It's very clear that Basingstoke needs a new hospital and it will happen."She said health minister Karin Smyth visited the trust recently and confirmed it "will get built". 'Utterly bonkers' Roy Lilley, a former NHS trust boss, who is now an independent health commentator, is less optimistic and does not think the hospital will be built."It's just totally and utterly bonkers," he said, adding that the government and economy could change by 2037."The money that we are spending at the moment to prop these places up, we could actually use that money to build new hospitals," Mr Lilley said. Kit Malthouse, Conservative MP for North West Hampshire said: "Waiting until 2037 is not just unacceptable — it's senseless. "Forecasting that far ahead is unreliable; by then we'll have had three general elections and a completely different spending landscape. Delaying now risks killing the project entirely."Our population has grown and will grow further. Our existing hospital buildings at Basingstoke are outdated and under strain. "Other communities in the national programme are seeing their hospitals delivered much sooner — why not ours?" A spokesperson from the Department of Health and Social Care said: "The New Hospital Programme we inherited was undeliverable, with funding due to run out in March."This government has confirmed a funding plan and an honest, realistic timetable to put us on track to deliver the rebuild of Hampshire Hospital, and we will work closely with the trust as we progress through our delivery plan."We have also allocated £1bn to address the backlog of critical NHS maintenance and repairs to help ensure hospitals are safe and sustainable." We pride ourselves on helping buyers understand which major sales and deals are legitimately good and which are more routine. That includes Black Friday, Prime Day, Memorial Day and countless other shopping events. We've become very good at weeding out scams and superficial deals, so you see only the best offers from retailers all over. We look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time when choosing a deal to show you. Real discounts mean exactly that. We look at the price history for that product to make sure no manufacturers are inflating prices to make the discount seem more substantial than it is. Quality reviews are important for any product, but especially for deeply discounted items, even when they're made by Apple. If it doesn't get updates anymore, for example, the discount isn't really worthwhile. Remaining sale time is a huge part of our vetting process. If a deal seems like it will only be around for a short while or will only be available for the remaining stock, we'll let you know up front so you don't come back to the deal later only to be disappointed.

The 2025 BMW M3 Competition Is a German GT-R: Video Review
The E46 BMW M3 has one of the tallest statures in all of automotive history. It's the one that every M3 is judged against, save for the E30 , and is almost universally beloved. For the average BMW fan, there isn't an M3 that can quite match the original magic of that car. I think that the newest facelift for 2025 (LCI, to BMW nerds) is finally that M3. For our newest YouTube video, I got to drive the latest M3. And I found myself pleasantly surprised. I would hear arguments for more interesting or more exciting M3s, but the G80 generation is one of the most complete since the E46–And I think it finally hits the chord of excitement. Odd, because I was one of many journalists who beat the ugly drum on the buck-tooth'd G80. I almost hate that the car has proven me wrong, but the earliest variants of the car were OK at best. It's a matter of technology. This is the first all-wheel-drive generation of M3, the latest refinement of a wide array of integrated chassis systems like adaptive dampers, brake vectoring, and advanced traction control. It is so technologically leveraged that tuning the systems is as important as tuning spring rates and sway bars. Finally, after some teething years, the 2025 G80 is something approaching M3 perfection. Find out why by watching our video. More on the M3 We Drove Three of the Best BMW M3s Ever.
