Samsung Galaxy M36 5G, to launch in India soon: Here's what we know so far
Samsung is set to expand its popular Galaxy M series portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy M36 5G. Samsung claims that the Galaxy M series, which was introduced in 2019, is a made-in-India and made-for-India smartphone. Designed for young consumers, the Galaxy M36 5G promises to offer a combination of design and features while being priced under Rs 20,000. Galaxy M36 5G, which will succeed last year's M35 5G smartphone, is set to feature a new design with multiple colour options and a better finish. The company claims that this will make the phone visually appealing and trendy, which also promises to come with a sleek and lightweight build. Galaxy M36 5G will debut with advanced AI features, Samsung has confirmed.
Samsung Galaxy M35 5G: Launch price, specs and more
Samsung launched Galaxy M36's predecessor, the M35, in July last year. The smartphone came in multiple RAM and storage variants and was launched at a starting price of Rs 19,999.
The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1380 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Running Android 14 with Samsung's One UI skin, the device supports hybrid dual SIM slots. For photography, it features a triple rear camera system comprising a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8), an 8MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.2), and a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4). On the front, there's a 13MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
Additional highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The phone packs a large 6000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
