CM lays foundation for kuruba boys hostel, MDCC bank building

Mandya : CM Siddaramaiah laid the foundation stone for a new Kuruba boys hostel in Mandya, marking a significant step towards the educational and social upliftment of backward communities in the region. Siddaramaiah highlighted the importance of hostels to ensure education for the underprivileged. The CM also laid the foundation stone for the new administration building of MDCC Bank, unveiled the Mysuru Maharaja Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar statue, and launched the 30 MW MDCC administrative building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 13 crore. District minister N Cheluvarayaswamy said, "In the last two years, nearly Rs 5000 crore has been sanctioned for various developmental works due to Siddaramaiah's interest in the people of Mandya."Urban development minister Byrathi Suresh lauded Siddaramaiah, and strongly endorsed Siddaramaiah, praising his leadership and asserted that he is honest. Calling Siddaramaiah a 'pride' for the Kuruba community, Suresh said, "No one else has earned the kind of popularity that Siddaramaiah has. He is an ideal leader who cannot be replicated."He reiterated Siddaramaiah's enduring political relevance, saying, "No matter what anyone says, Siddaramaiah means Congress and Congress means Siddaramaiah." Suresh remarked that Siddaramaiah is central to the strength and unity of the Congress in Karnataka , suggesting "without Siddaramaiah, there is no party."
