WATCH: Horse-riding officers chase down suspected drug dealer in Florida, police say
Police in Jacksonville released a video showing a horse-powered police pursuit through city streets. Officials said the man was running into oncoming traffic, trying to lose deputies on horseback. Deputies said they chased Jordan Wilson for a quarter mile across the city. He surrendered while sitting down at the base of a flagpole while out of breath. Today: Falcon 9 rocket set to launch from Cape Canaveral
SpaceX is getting ready for another rocket launch along Florida's Space Coast. The company plans to send its Falcon 9 rocket on a mission to deliver 21 new Starlink satellites into low-earth orbit. The satellites are used to expand Starlink's global high-speed internet network. After the launch, SpaceX plans to land the rocket's booster on its droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. Partly cloudy and warm weekend in Central Florida
Our warm winter trend continues this weekend in Central Florida. Fog is once again a concern across the area Friday morning, but sunshine and warm temperatures are expected in the evening. Once the fog burns off, we'll once again have a blend of sun, clouds, and dry conditions. Highs today will be back in the low 80s. A touch more sunshine is expected to start the weekend on Saturday. The dry weather will continue to start the weekend, with highs in the mid-80s.
