Jake Paul Vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Full Card Is Sneaky Good
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 14: Jake Paul, left, gestures towards Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Mexico's ... More former world champion, during a boxing news conference at the Avalon Hollywood Theatre in Los Angeles on May 14, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by)Nakisa Bidarian, CEO and Co-Founder of Most Valuable Promotions, center left, and Oscar De La Hoya, of Golden Boy Promotions, center right, look on. Jake Paul will take on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 28 in Anaheim. That is obviously the headliner of the event, but boxing fans shouldn't sleep on the card as a whole. While some boxing purists may still be boycotting the Problem Child—though the numbers suggest they're only claiming not to watch—the fights MVP Promotions has put together form a strong night of action on paper. In case you're not aware, here's the entire card set to be streamed on DAZN on June 28 beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Here are the details. Jake Paul vs. Julio César Chávez Jr. Full Fight Card The event is a pay-per-view that costs $59.99 on DAZN. I won't spend a bunch of time talking about Paul-Chavez Jr. If you need someone to explain to you why it's worth watching, you've probably already decided you're not interested. So, it would probably be a waste of text. Basically, it's a fight between one of the most popular human beings on Earth and a polarizing second-generation fighter who is a former world champion. But he's also known as much for being a disappointment in the ring as he is for reaching the pinnacle of the sport. With Paul moving closer to fighting an actual active boxer, there's a slight bit more of a competitive interest in this one than in most of his previous bouts. RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - FEBRUARY 17: Floyd Schofield speaks with Steve Bunce during the Media Day ... More ahead of the Riyadh Season event on February 17, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (Photo by Mark Robinson/) As for the undercard, things get really interesting once we get to the Schofield-Farmer fight. Schofield is a talented and undefeated 22-year-old lightweight from New Jersey. He and his father, Floyd Sr., have become one of the more outspoken father-son combinations in the sport. Schofield was supposed to fight Shakur Stevenson for the WBC title earlier this year, but he fell ill and pulled out during fight week. Farmer is a highly skilled veteran and former super featherweight champion. However, he is on a three-fight losing streak following back-to-back controversial losses to William Zepeda (Stevenson's next opponent) and a more clear-cut loss to Ray Muratalla via unanimous decision in July 2024. Farmer will be the biggest test of Schofield's career, but not quite on the level of Stevenson. We'll see if he can use this fight as a stepping stone to that kind of opportunity. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 14: Gilberto Ramirez aka Zurdo Ramirez, left, faces off against Yuniel ... More Dorticos, right, as Oscar De La Hoya, center, of Golden Boy Productions looks on during a boxing news conference at the Avalon Hollywood Theatre in Los Angeles on May 14, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by) Ramirez-Dorticos is such an underrated fight. After all, Ramirez is one of the most underrated fighters of this generation. The reigning WBO cruiserweight champion is 47-1 with 30 KOs. His only loss came to Dmitry Bivol in November 2022. Ramirez is coming off a lopsided win over Chris Billam-Smith in November 2024, and he's looking to add the WBA title to his mantle. Dorticos is a dangerous, power-punching Cuban with 27 wins, 1 loss, and 25 of his victories have come by KO. It should be an interesting clash, and the card is providing Ramirez an opportunity to be appreciated by a larger viewing audience. That's the co-main event, but right before Ramirez and Dorticos clash, we'll see former UFC women's bantamweight champion and world champion boxer Holly Holm return to the ring. It's been 12 years since Holm boxed, as she went to the UFC where she pulled off arguably the biggest upset win in MMA history when she knocked out Ronda Rousey in November 2015. LOS ANGELES, UNITED STATES - MAY 14: Holly Holm (L) faces off against Yolanda Vega during the Los ... More Angeles press conference for the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fight, hosted by DAZN at the Avalon West Hollywood on May 14, 2025 in United States. (Photo by Jon Putman/Anadolu via Getty Images) In Holm's in-ring boxing return, she will face Yolanda Vega. While not widely known, Vega is 10-0 with 1 KO. At 30, she is 13 years younger than the 43-year-old Holm and represents the right kind of challenge for the combat sports icon at this stage of her career. If Holm wins, don't rule out a potential championship fight against WBA champion Stephanie Han, who MVP just signed to a promotional deal. As you can see, there are a lot of layers here and multiple reasons to watch this event. The $60 price tag might still be a little steep, though.

Katie Taylor Vs. Amanda Serrano 3 Full Card And All Info
NEW YORK, USA - APRIL 09: Katie Taylor (L), Amanda Serrano (R), and Jake Paul (M) during the ... More kick-off press conference for Taylor vs Serrano 3 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, U.S., April 9, 2025. (Photo by Mostafa Bassim/Anadolu via Getty Images) Katie Taylor (24-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs) are set to add a third chapter to their epic rivalry that has played a major role in defining their careers and dramatically advancing women's boxing. Taylor has won both of the first two meetings, but the results have been controversial. Because of the questions around the final decisions, there is an appetite for a third meeting. Recently, MVP Promotions announced the entire card, and it is packed with almost every top-level female fighter in the world. Here is a look at the card and viewing information. Streaming Platform: Netflix Main Card Start Time: 7 p.m. ET Main Event Ring Walks: Approximately 9:40 p.m. ET Date: Friday, July 11, 2025 Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York City ARLINGTON, TEXAS - NOVEMBER 15: (L-R) Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano fight during LIVE On Netflix: ... More Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium on November 15, 2024 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo byfor Netflix © 2024) Here's a look at the historic fight card: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano – Undisputed Super Lightweight Title Alycia Baumgardner vs. Jennifer Miranda – Undisputed Super Featherweight Title Savannah Marshall vs. Shadasia Green – Super Middleweight Title Unification Ellie Scotney vs. Yamileth Mercado – Super Bantamweight Title Unification Dina Thorslund vs. Shurretta Metcalf – Bantamweight Title Unification Chantelle Cameron vs. Jessica Camara – WBC Interim Super Lightweight Title Ramla Ali vs. Lila Furtado – Super Bantamweight Bout Tamm Thibeault vs. Mary Casamassa – Super Middleweight Bout Aside from Taylor-Serrano III and Baumgardner-Miranda, which we've known about for a while, MVP officially added Marshall-Green to add more depth to the card. 'Defending my IBF and Ring Magazine belt in a unification fight with Shadasia Green, on an all-women's card such as this, is a great way to start my new journey with MVP,' said Marshall via an MVP press release. 'There are so many great women on one show at the iconic Madison Square Garden, and I'm beaming that I can play my part in it. Cannot wait for Friday, July 11th!' Green was equally happy to clash with Marshall. 'I am really excited about fighting Savannah Marshall, who has accomplished a lot in the sport. We are two hard-punching world champions who will put everything on the line,' said Green via an MVP press release. 'I'm looking forward to putting on a great show, and I'm certain that Marshall will bring the best out of me on Friday, July 11.' FLINT, MICHIGAN - FEBRUARY 02: Claressa Shields arrives for her undisputed heavyweight title bout ... More against Danielle Perkins on February 02, 2025 at Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. (Photo by) While the MVP card is stacked and an excellent celebration of women's boxing, it's impossible to overlook who's not on the card. Claressa Shields, the only female fighter whose accomplishments best Serrano and Taylor, isn't on the card. Undisputed super middleweight champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn, who defeated Green to win her undisputed crown, isn't on the card, and neither is women's welterweight champion Mikaela Mayer. According to Shields, MVP made her an offer to fight on the card, but the undisputed heavyweight champion felt it was too low. Because there has been conversation, I have confidence we'll see a second card down the road that does include Shields. While we're celebrating MVP's show, I can't help but wonder how much cooler the event could have been if it had a second main event featuring Shields-Green and perhaps Crews-Dezurn vs. Marshall. That card goes even crazier than the one MVP has put in place. In any case, I'll have complete coverage of the card, and I'll also have an eye on what Shields has to say about the event.
