Homeowner rescued, house destroyed by fire in Maces Bay, N.B.

A Musquash firefighter saved a homeowner from a fire in Maces Bay, N.B., Wedneday night.
The firefighter, who lives nearby, was first on scene. They managed to enter the house and saved the homeowner from the burning home. No injuries were reported.
The Musquash Fire Department received a call about the house fire in the area of Welch Cove Rd. at approximately 10:12 p.m., said the Musquash Fire Department in an email to CTV News.
The house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on scene.
The Eastern Charlotte Fire Department assisted in dumping 35 loads of water from a local source to contain the fire.
The Musquash Fire Department deployed a drone to survey for hot spots before declaring the fire out.
Ambulance New Brunswick was on scene providing medical attention and monitoring the firefighters.
New Brunswick RCMP was also in attendance. The cause of the fire is unknown.
