Tyler Perry's 13th Madea movie, titled Madea's Destination Wedding, is all set to release globally on Netflix on Friday, July 11, 2025, as reported by What's on Netflix.
After the roaring success of A Madea Homecoming in 2022, which spent four weeks on Netflix's Global Top 10 Films list and was watched for over 72 million hours, fans have been eagerly waiting for her next big comeback. And now it's official: Madea is packing her bags, calling the family, and heading to a destination wedding that's anything but ordinary.
What is Madea's Destination Wedding all about?
Just when things seem to be getting peaceful for Madea's family, drama strikes again, and this time, it comes with wedding invitations. Brian and his ex-wife Debrah are left stunned when their daughter Tiffany reveals she's getting married in just two weeks to a rapper she recently met on a yacht! What's more? The wedding is happening in the Bahamas, and the entire family is invited.
As the crew heads out for this whirlwind trip, they're met with more than just sunshine and cocktails. Madea isn't exactly thrilled about flying out of the country. Brian doesn't trust Tiffany's impulsive fiancé. Debrah starts acting strangely, and Tiffany herself begins to have second thoughts about the whole thing. What starts off as a fancy getaway turns into a rollercoaster of secrets, family conflicts, and classic Madea-style madness.
