GoFundMe raises money for Mass. family of 26-year-old who died in motorcycle crash
A GoFundMe is helping raise money for the family of the 26-year-old who died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was identified as Madisen Taylor.
'With heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved Madisen,' the GoFundMe read reads. 'Maddy who passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident. May 24th, 2025. She was only 26 years old, and her passing has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled.'
The crash happened at the intersection of Suffield Street and Adams Street shortly before 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, according to WWLP. At the scene, officers found an unresponsive 26-year-old woman with severe injuries.
Firefighters brought the woman to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where she later died of her injuries, the news station reported.
Agawam, Massachusetts State Police and the Hampden County District Attorney's Office are still investigating the crash.
Taylor, who turned 26 about two weeks ago, is being remembered as beautiful, smart and incredibly talented.
'Her spirit was vibrant, her heart was kind, and her presence brought joy and light to everyone lucky enough to know her. Whether she was sharing her creativity, making us laugh, or lifting someone up with her words, she had a gift for making the world feel a little better and a little brighter,' the GoFundMe reads.
A different GoFundMe raised $545 before it was shut down due to a family member creating another GoFundMe.
The current GoFundMe has raised more than $15,000 as of Wednesday morning. The money is going towards 'funeral expenses and helping our family honor her memory the way she should be remembered.'
'Our family is heartbroken and still trying to come to terms with this unimaginable loss,' the GoFundMe states. 'As we begin to plan her funeral and memorial service, we're also facing the financial burden that comes with such an unexpected tragedy.'
Friends on social media also remembered Taylor as the 'pure absolute definition of happy' and 'beyond bright amazing soul.'
