Druski Docs Challenge Accuser's Claim Of Sexual Assault At Diddy Party
Druski immediately shot down accusations that he was involved in a kidnapping and rape that allegedly took place at a party also attended by Sean 'Diddy' Combs in 2018. New documents now indicate that he was still an unknown in financial straits when the alleged incident would have taken place at the A-list gathering. Bank documents and phone records obtained by VIBE show that the comedian born Drew Alexander Desbordes was living with his mother in Georgia at the time he would have been attending the Los Angeles shindig. His depleted funds also indicate he was not yet a well paid, public figure who would have access to figures like Diddy and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., who were also named in the lawsuit as having been present during the alleged incident on March 23, 2018. Accuser Ashley Parham claims she was 'drugged, kidnapped, and raped' in 2018 at an event that Diddy was a part of. According to Parham — who added Druski and Beckham Jr. to her lawsuit months after its October 2024 filing solely against Diddy — Druski 'doused Plaintiff' with 'oil/lubricant' before jumping on top of her naked body and 'treating it like a slip and slide.' She then alleges the comic vaginally raped her as Diddy watched and masterbated in a nearby chair while recording the heinous crime. 'I wasn't a public figure in 2018 – I was broke living with my mom without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation, so the inclusion of my name is truly outlandish,' Druski wrote on X (formerly Twitter) and his Instagram Story following the initial accusations. 'My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but I'm fully confident that the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to peddle false narratives.' Many of the lawsuits filed against Diddy following his September 2024 arrest have since been amended to include other celebrity names, with one accuser recently removing the names of JAY-Z and Beyoncé Carter as witnesses to a sex assault crime after it was made clear that the couple were not in the state of Florida — where the incident allegedly took place — at the time. Accuser Joseph Manzaro also claims Gloria and Emilio Estefan and LeBron James were witnesses to him being sexually assaulted at an alleged 'freak-off' party of Diddy's. Combs' legal team said in a statement to TMZ, 'This complaint demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday. No sane person reading this complaint could credit this story. Mr. Combs looks forward to having his day in court where these lies — and the perverse motives of those who told them — will be revealed.' Kai Cenat, one of Twitch's biggest livestreamers, is kicking off his latest marathon Friday: He says he is going to play the four main titles in the 'Batman: Arkham' series nonstop — 'until I beat it,' he posted on X. The livestream starts Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. ET on his Twitch channel, where he boasts 16.3 million followers. Cenat plans to play the major releases in order: 'Batman: Arkham Asylum,' 'Batman: Arkham City,' 'Batman: Arkham Origins' and 'Batman: Arkham Knight.' More from Variety Warner Bros. Games Chief David Haddad to Exit (EXCLUSIVE) Harry Potter 'Hogwarts Legacy' Sequel From Warner Bros. Games Is 'One of the Biggest Priorities,' WBD CFO Says Target Drops Exclusive Batman and Robin Graphic Novel With Dynamic Duo As 'Father and Son' Cenat has been promoting his planned 'Batman: Arkham' marathon since December, and he recently said Warner Bros. was 'going to try and help me out' with the livestream, including potentially lending props, vehicles and suits from the Batman movies. Sources tell Variety that Warner Bros. Games, which is the publisher of the 'Batman: Arkham' series (developed by Rocksteady Studios), is not involved in any partnership for Cenat's livestream marathon. The 'Batman: Arkham' marathon appears designed to boost Cenat's Twitch paid subscriber count. He's done such stunts before: In May 2024, Cenat staged a marathon to beat 'Elden Ring,' a feat that took him 167 hours and more than 1,700 deaths — and there's no telling how long it might take him to complete the 'Batman: Arkham' games. Twitch lets regular viewers watch livestreams for free. In addition, Twitch lets creators offer subscriptions, starting at $4.99/month, to gain access to custom emotes, subscriber badges, ad-free viewing and other perks. In November 2024, Cenat held a monthlong 'Mafiathon 2' livestream, ending with a record 728,535 paying subscribers, more than doubling his previous count, according to TwitchTracker. CNBC estimated that the subathon generated $3.6 million from tier 1 ($4.99) subscriptions alone, with Amazon's Twitch taking a cut of the revenue. Cenat previously said 20% of all revenue would be going toward a school he is building in Nigeria. Guests on Cenat's 'Mafiathon 2' included Lil Uzi Vert, Miranda Cosgrove, Snoop Dogg, Quavo, GloRilla, Serena Williams, Marshmello, Bill Nye, Benny Blanco, Lizzo, SZA, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, Druski, Kevin Hart and more. Currently, Cenat has 106,160 active paying subscribers on Twitch, making him the No. 1 most-subscribed livestreamer, according to TwitchTracker. Meanwhile, Cenat also has a significant YouTube presence, with 12 million subscribers on his Kai Cenat Live channel and 7 million on @KaiCenat. Earlier this month Cenat led one of the two teams that played in the NFL-YouTube Flag Football Game, one day before Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Cenat's team, whose players included former NFL QB Michael Vick, lost 30-29 to the squad led by IShowSpeed (Darren Jason Watkins Jr.) behind quarterback Cam Newton. A viral livestream featuring a $70,000 humanoid robot has sparked debate over human behavior toward the stream, influencer Kai Cenat and two others are seen mishandling a Unitree G1 humanoid while attempting to assemble footage, taken from Cenat's latest broadcast, has drawn criticism, raising ethical concerns about the treatment of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) lacks emotions, the incident highlights broader questions about how humans interact with machines as they become more lifelike and integrated into daily life. The viral video, which depicts Cenat and two other streamers, Agent and Fanum, abusing the humanoid robot during a broadcast, has generated discussion on social media. The three of them first tried to teach the robot simple commands like walking, but their behavior soon became more robot stumbled in the video after being kicked from behind by one of Cenat's buddies and then by Cenat himself. They pushed it around, eventually causing it to collapse again, even though they assisted it in standing up. The humanoid was once pushed into a stack of crates. Later, it tried to flee in the direction of a door, but one of the group members caught it and pinned it viewers have compared the video to the beginning of a robot rebellion, and the video has been extensively shared on X and other platforms. The incident highlights moral concerns about how people should behave around sophisticated robotics, even though it is still up for dispute. The clip was later reposted on X by gamer and journalist Ian Miles Cheong, who captioned it, "Abusing robots seems so wrong. If this thing has AI built-in, it's going to remember the trauma." The video has since accumulated over 100,000 views, drawing widespread criticism. Many viewers condemned the streamers' actions, calling them unethical and raising concerns about the treatment of advanced robots. During his Mafiathon 2 event in November, Cenat showcased a $24,000 robot assistant at his $55 million mansion. The Eve humanoid from 1X Technologies handled chores, security, and entertainment, adding to the lavish 30-day event aimed at breaking subscriber records and raising funds for schools in Nigeria, set in his expansive 14-bedroom estate. The G1 Edu Ultimate CU5 humanoid robot, recently purchased by Kai Cenat for $70,000, has drawn attention for its advanced features and hefty price tag. Manufactured by Unitree, this model is among the most expensive in the G1 series, surpassing the $16,000 base version when customized with additional 77 lbs (35 kg) , the G1 Edu is designed for dynamic environments, including sports and research applications. It has 41 degrees of freedom, fully articulated limbs, and sophisticated five-fingered hands that can manipulate objects precisely. Its high-speed synchronous motors and industrial-grade cross-roller bearings offer durability and accuracy; each arm can support 6.6 lbs (3 kg), and the knee joint can generate up to 120 Nm of torque. A manual remote control operates the G1 Edu, but it may eventually be able to operate autonomously thanks to future over-the-air upgrades. It has a speaker and a four-microphone array, which could enable speech interaction when combined with ChatGPT or other AI models. The robot runs on a 9,000 mAh lithium battery for about two hours, and its processing capability may be increased with an optional Nvidia Jetson Orin G1 Edu has a depth camera and 3D LiDAR for sensing and navigation, which guarantees accurate environmental interaction. It's Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 provide smooth robot is highly configurable since Unitree provides comprehensive technical assistance and is designed for secondary development. Recent developments in the G1 series have added whole-body movement, running, and even football-playing skills, however its current usefulness is still restricted. Regarding the incident in question, while AI lacks emotions, the development has sparked debate over human responsibility in interacting with increasingly lifelike machines.
