Three killed, three hurt in accident while returning from temple visits in Andhra

Three people died and three others were injured in a road accident in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The incident occurred near Pododdii village in Pyapili Mandal, when a Toyota Innova to reports, the six people travelling in the vehicle were friends and hailed from Tumkur, Karnataka. They were returning to Karnataka after visiting the famous Sri Sailam Mallikarjuna Swamy and Mahanandi temples. The car reportedly lost control and overturned, killing three of the occupants deceased were identified as Santosh, Lokesh, and Naveen. The three injured passengers were taken to Kurnool Government Hospital for treatment. Earlier this month in a similar incident, four individuals from Adoni district, Andhra Pradesh, lost their lives in an auto accident near Bairluti in Atmakur Mandal, also in Nandyal district. They were returning home after offering prayers at Srisailam when the accident took president and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called the incident deeply saddening, especially because the victims were returning from pilgrimages. He encouraged the government to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured and to provide all necessary support to the families of the for Human Resource Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh and Minister for Transport Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy also expressed grief in separate by Debosmita Maity IN THIS STORY#Andhra Pradesh
