The first court of the season

The King and Queen held a Court at Buckingham Palace last evening.
Previous to the Court the King received his Highness the Maharaja of Kapurthala, accompanied by Maharaj Kumar Karamjit Singh.
Colonel AD Bannerman, Political Aide-de-Camp to the Secretary of State for India, was in attendance.
His Majesty also received Admiral of the Fleet the Hon Sir AS Gough-Calthorpe upon relinquishing his appointment as First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to the King; and Admiral Sir Montague Browning, upon his appointment as First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty.
