Maharashtra SSC results out, 94.10% students pass
A total of 94.10 per cent of Class 10 students who wrote the Maharashtra Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) examination have qualified for higher education, as per the results that were announced on Tuesday morning.
Out of the 15,46,579 students who had appeared for the SSC examination, 14,55,433 have passed, according to the details provided by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Konkan Division saw the highest pass percentage at 98.82 per cent, while Nagpur Division recorded the lowest at 90.78 per cent. The Konkan Division was followed by Kolhapur at 96.87 per cent, Mumbai at 95.84 per cent, Pune at 94.81 per cent, Nashik at 93.04 per cent, Amravati at 92.95 per cent, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 92.82 per cent, Latur at 92.77 per cent, and Nagpur at 90.78 per cent.
Female students recorded a higher pass percentage at 96.14 percent than their male counterparts (92.31 per cent). Four students' results were kept in reserve and would be declared later, officials said.
As many as 8,844 students out of the 9,585 from the Persons with Disabilities category passed the SSC examination, recording a pass percentage of 92.27.
In 2024, the state had seen a pass percentage of 95.81, indicating a dip of 1.71 per cent this year.
