'Hot summer' for Israel: Houthis vow more attacks after Sanaa raid
Shafaq News/ On Wednesday, Yemen's Houthi movement (Ansarallah) warned of a 'hot summer' for Israel following an airstrike on Sanaa International Airport. Houthi political leader Mahdi al-Mashat, who visited the site after the strike, pledged intensified retaliation and reaffirmed support for Palestinians in Gaza. 'We will not retreat or surrender.' Mashat also warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Yemeni missiles would bypass Israeli air defenses. 'Our missiles will reach their targets. Shelters will not protect you,' he asserted, adding that commercial flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport could also be at risk. The airstrike marked Israel's tenth on Yemen since the outbreak of the Gaza war, with previous raids targeting cement plants, energy infrastructure, and ports. However, Israeli media have reported growing domestic criticism over the raids' limited deterrent effect.

SPC: Yemen resilient, stands with Gaza
Sana'a - Saba: The Supreme Political Council, chaired by Mahdi al-Mashat, on Thursday affirmed that Yemen is firmly positioned regionally and has successfully resisted attempts to deter its support for Gaza, which it described as facing a Zionist genocide. The SPC stated that the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and the performance of the armed forces have impressed the world and would revive the spirit of resistance. President al-Mashat briefed on developments related to a ceasefire announcement, praising Oman's role. He asserted that Yemen considers the outcome a victory due to "Allah help" and the leadership's wisdom, leading to an American retreat after a great failure. He emphasized high military readiness and promised a significant and imminent response to Israeli aggression. Al-Mashat reassured the public about economic stability and the availability of oil, noting efforts to restore Sana'a airport and handle stranded Yemenis, as well as addressing power plants, vowing that the "Israeli enemy" would be punished. President: No retreat from supporting Gaza, no matter cost
