Class 11 admissions website down: New schedule expected on Thursday

Nagpur: The online registration process for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Class 11 admissions in Maharashtra has been postponed as the website is being updated based on changes suggested by students and parents during the two day 'practice session'. The new schedule will be announced on Thursday by 3pm on the web site itself. The Maharashtra state directorate of education's official notice stated that CAP registration for the academic year 2024-25, enabling Class 11 admissions across junior colleges statewide, was set to begin on May 21. Mahesh Palakar, director of education (secondary and higher secondary), issued a letter explaining that the postponement affects all registration activities, including form submissions and preference selection for general and quota-based admissions. This impacts students applying under management quota, minority quota, and in-house quota categories. The notice stressed that all parties involved must follow the new timeline upon its release. The CAP system serves as an essential tool for facilitating transparent and merit-based Class 11 admissions in Maharashtra for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. The previous year witnessed substantial student participation through the online system. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Health: This unbreakable military watch is making seniors happy this year Indestructible Smartwatch Undo Despite causing inconvenience, the delay aims to ensure an efficient and accurate registration process for all candidates.
