DAV girl is Gumla topper in Class XII (science)
Gumla: Girl students of Class XII from DAV excelled in all science, arts, and commerce streams, while boys scored above 90% in class X. DAV Gumla student Mahi Sinha topped the Class XII science stream in the district with 94.6%, followed by Kshitiz Raj in maths with 93%.
Mahi obtained 96 marks each in biology and English, 99 in painting, and 95 in physical education. She said, "I want to become a cardiologist after cracking NEET."Notre Dame School's Sakshi Priya got 92% marks to become the school topper in class XII Greater Triveni Public School student Zikra Parwez, daughter of garage mechanic Parwez Alam, got 93.2% in Class XII class XII arts, seven students of DAV scored above 90%, including Anjali Kumari, who obtained 98.6%. In Class XII commerce, Gumla DAV's seven students scored above 90%. In Class X, a total of 28 students from DAV Gumla scored above 90%, with Saket Kumar obtaining 98.4%, followed by Neel Mishra with 97.8%. Tribal girl Prasansa Minj of CM School of Excellence scored 85% in Class X. DAV Gumla principal Ramakant Sahu said, "Our students have brought glory to the school by scoring well in Classes X and XII. There is an atmosphere of joy across the campus."
