Suspect wanted for carjacking Los Angeles County sheriff's truck

Authorities are searching for a suspect who carjacked a Los Angeles County sheriff's truck in downtown L.A. Wednesday. LASD workers were conducting official duties near Spring and Temple Streets around 5 a.m. when a male suspect approached a deputy at the scene. A physical struggle ensued before the suspect successfully got into the vehicle and drove away. The deputy suffered minor injuries during the scuffle and was treated at a local hospital. The stolen truck was an all-purpose utility vehicle. Following an investigation, deputies later found the truck abandoned in the 14900 block of South Western Avenue in Gardena. Authorities confirmed that no department-issued firearms or weapons were stolen during the ordeal, however, four cell phones remain missing. The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid-20s. He stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has a shaved head and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. 'The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, in coordination with other local law enforcement agencies, is actively investigating the matter,' authorities said. FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - Fairfax County police continue to search for a man accused of multiple indecent exposures in Fairfax County. Police are asking for the community's assistance in identifying the pictured suspect below believed to be responsible for multiple indecent exposure cases in Chantilly. Police received a report of an unknown man exposing himself to multiple victims near the 4600 block of Stonecroft Blvd in Chantilly on March 30, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. The suspect is believed to be responsible for similar reports on April 29, 2023, at 6 p.m. in the 4600 block of Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly, and on April 24, 2024, at 5:20 p.m. in the 4600 block of Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly. The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s or 50s, of thin build, with light gray hair. 30-year-old Minnesota man arrested in northern Virginia after traveling to meet with teen

The Brief A 30-year-old Minnesota man was arrested in Fairfax County after being found inside of a home with a 15-year-old. Police say the man traveled to Virginia to engage in illicit acts with the child, who he met on TikTok. He has been charged with solicitation of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and production of child sexual abuse material. FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - A Minnesota man is in custody, accused of driving to northern Virginia to solicit sex from a minor he met on TikTok. What we know Police were called to a home in the 2000 block of Blue Ridge Court near Reston around 3 p.m. on Jan. 25 where a man told officers that he walked into his house and found his 15-year-old child with a man inside. Investigators discovered that the man was 30-year-old Trent Fair. Fair is a resident of Minnesota and police say he traveled to engage in illicit acts with the victim. Fair was charged with four counts of solicitation of a minor, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond. Victim specialists from our Major Crimes Bureau's Victim Services Division have been assigned to ensure the victim is receiving appropriate resources and assistance. Police Issue Warning Fairfax County police urge parents to closely monitor their children's online activities and use security settings to keep them off of inappropriate sites. Children should be encouraged to report anyone engaging in inappropriate conversations or trying to coerce them into providing sexually explicit images of themselves.
