Saskatoon major crimes unit investigating after human remains found west of city
Social Sharing Officers with Saskatoon police's major crimes unit are investigating after human remains were found west of the city on June 4. The remains were somewhere off Highway 7. Police did not say how far out of the city they were found, how they were discovered or how far off the highway. "At this time, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the discovery, and whether foul play is involved," police said in a news release.

2 shooting incidents within minutes in Akron; 1 shot

The first happened just before 12:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Grant Street, according to a statement from police. Witnesses wanted in man's death in John d'Or Prairie: RCMP
An RCMP cruiser can be seen in this file photo. RCMP are looking for information after a man was stabbed to death in John d'Or Prairie. Mounties said officers were called to the nursing station for a stabbing victim on Wednesday at 3 a.m. The man died and the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled at the Chief Medical Examiner's office in Edmonton on Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call Vermilion RCMP at 780-927-3255 or local police. Prince Albert police investigate death of woman as homicide
Anyone who may have had contact with Dakota Settee between May 19 and May 26 are asked to contact police. (Prince Albert Police Service) Prince Albert Police are investigating the death of woman as a homicide. Around 7:45 p.m. on May 26, police were called to the 1400 block of 15th Street East for a report of a deceased woman, according to a release from the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS). Following an autopsy on Thursday, the woman was identified as 30-year-old Dakota Settee. Investigators with the major crimes unit are asking the public to contact them or Crime Stoppers if they have information that may assist the investigation. Anyone who may have had contact with Dakota Settee between May 19 and May 26 are also asked to contact police. At this time, no arrests have been made in relation to the homicide and the investigation is ongoing.

Man grazed by bullet while in his home in Utica. What we know
Multiple gunshots on the 700 block of Roberts Street left one man grazed and have police investigating, according to the Utica Police Department. At around 1:30 p.m. on May 26, police received a ShotSpotter alert for multiple gunshots on the 700 block of Roberts Street. Police say on arrival, they found a house that had been shot multiple times and a man who was inside at the time. The unidentified man said told police he had heard the shots first and then was grazed by one of the bullets that entered his home. Police say he was not seriously injured.
